Summary
The year is 1992. Sold by his father for a single pack of cigarettes at the age of four, the sensitive yet rebellious Robbie John Linder is quickly taken in by a family of nomads known as the Aldecaldos. During his time on the road, he quickly bonds with Barrett Nauman, a smart and free spirited boy, and the two quickly become inseparable. As the years wear on, Robbie learns to navigate the fledgling Coronado City (a place which will soon come to be known as Night City) - he faces street gangs, bullying, and the pains of growing up, Barrett by his side the whole way. However, as the pressure mounts for him to grow into the legend that Coronado City so often encourages its people to be, he quickly learns that becoming a legend comes at a very, very high cost - but is it one that he is willing to pay?
In other words- this is my attempt to detail Johnny's entire childhood as well as explain why he is the way he is during the game. Enjoy!

Summary
V did it. She stormed the castle, destroyed Mikoshi, made it back out alive... Hell, she even wrangled Johnny back from the dead. She got everything she could have wanted. Everything except for a real goddamn cure.
A six-month countdown, a dying woman desperate to save her own life, a rockerboy relearning what it means to be a real person again, and two halves of the same mind split back into bodies that aren't sure they wanted to be separated.
Then the clock runs out.

Summary
V didn’t remember walking out of Arasaka Tower. Or crashing through whatever hell they’d called a mission. Truth was, her memory of that week was a big black void. One second, she was moving, fighting, thinking—maybe screaming—and the next, nothing. Just fragments of pain, gnawing and blunt, the kind that didn’t care about timing or logic. Bits of herself showed up in flashes: her body aching in places she didn’t even know could hurt, her head pounding with a rhythm that didn’t match any music she’d ever heard, and the occasional echo of someone screaming her name. That someone, apparently, wasn’t in the room.
V goes through the five stages of grief in a world without Johnny, but the Silverhand-shaped hole left in her heart never really heals. Then one night, when she thinks she’s finally made her uneasy peace, there’s a knock at the door.
Johnny Silverhand is standing in her doorway.

V might as well be erased from the Silverhand story, she's just an inconsistent stain in his bittersweet reunion with the future.

Summary
They did it. V and Johnny make it to Mikoshi so that Alt can finally separate them. Instead of waking up a legend, V wakes up in her old bed in her old apartment recovering from the aftermath of Konpeki.
V and Johnny are back to square one but with the knowledge of everything they did last time. Maybe they can get through their predicament without gonking it up this time. Only problem is now they can touch each other and they can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves.
Armed with the knowledge of the past, they try to do it better this time. Until time resets. Again. And Again.
