Summary
A deep dive into real and imagined dynamics of the Helen/James/Tristan polycule, through a series of character vignettes. Helen and James' relationship is built on mutual love and respect, but they still struggle with trust issues, intimacy trauma, differing ideas about children, and the self-denial required by compulsory heterosexuality. They don't always communicate effectively and they sometimes make a meal out of it, but in the words of Siegfried, they always get there in the end. Their mutual relationship with Tristan is an essential part of this unfolding process and an essential part of both Tristan and James' lives.
A Helen/James/Tristan series of slow-building character vignettes. Starts with Helen's journey pre-relationship, then expands to include James and Tristan POV. Occasionally angsty, occasionally fluffy, hopefully funny, definitely sexy.
