Summary

Summary

This story is a what if where Tony makes one change, which opens up new opportunities. One among them is an earlier proposal of marriage to Pepper than canonical. That is one among many many many facets of the story, it is not the main point of the story. Tony gains a support system, while other people lose theirs. Tony explores possibilities to defend the Earth. Tony gains allies.

Just after his eleventh birthday, Sam Winchester received a letter dropped off by an owl of all things. Harry Potter chose a very important train compartment on his first ride to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There was a small boy sitting alone in the compartment reading, and this boy had on his person three knives and a bottle of holy water. Harry Potter had found his people.
Severus Snape thought he must be extremely unlucky to be the only faculty member at the school who had a muggle landline phone at his summer residence…unlucky, but also so very thankful. Because after countless shocking, concerning, and frankly bizarre calls from one of his students’ guardians each summer, a Dean Winchester, well, Severus’s life was taking on a completely new and welcome direction.

Summary
A collection for all of my AUs, each of which begins with a single change, a "what if" scenario whose consequences are tracked through the Harry Potter world.
Divided into two sub-series, "The Worlds that Might Have Been" and "A Difference in the Sorting".
The Worlds that Might Have Been includes four stories focusing on Severus Snape. Each piece is intended to stand on its own, though there are thematic and structural parallels/contrasts between Legacies & Futures and between Deaths & Victories.
A Difference in the Sorting is more of a traditional series, telling a complete story across three fics, following the consequences of a single change: what would happen to the history of the wizarding world if Severus Snape and Lily Evans were sorted into Hufflepuff.- Words:
