The guy only sniffs and hitches his hands up on his hips, showing off a trimmer waist than his oversized rugby shirt suggested. “What’s your name again?”
“Rocky,” he offers, simple and easy. “You?”
“Grace,” the guy says. “Or Mr. Grace, if you’re a seventh grader within twenty yards of me.”
“Just Grace?”
“Just Rocky?”
Rocky arches a brow and steps inside the copy room, which seems to charge up the air despite the preexisting smell of hot paper and toner. “Look, Mr. Grace,” he says, trying to keep his posture open and casual even though Grace is nearly a hand taller than him. “I didn’t mean to roll up like gangbusters on your copy room racketeering gig, I was just trying to learn the lay of the land and get my sheets prepped for the kids. But I’ll mosey on down to the math department and put my formal order in if need be.”
Grace rolls his jaw like he’s got a marble in his mouth, and now that they’re closer Rocky can make out the bright blue of his eyes and the gold in his lashes. Damn, he’s a good looking son of a bitch, if only he didn’t have a stick jammed so far up his pert little—

What if you just sought release, the small mostly unpleasant voice in my head whispers and I stop dead in my tracks.
Could I?
No, Rocky hears everything going on inside the ship—heck she probably hears me running around in circles right now, wondering what’s gotten into me—there is no way I could jerk off without her knowing. And while I’m all for cultural exchange and demonstrations of common habits, masturbation is one I don’t really want to breach yet.
I resume my pacing.
What if that’s the reason my body’s been acting this way lately in the first place? As far as I know I haven’t had any sort of sexual release in at least five years, so my body could just be going through withdrawal and has latched onto the only other person here.
Now for my other problem, aka the execution. How do I masturbate in a tiny ship with a roommate who can literally “see” through walls? The answer’s simple, really.
I just need to wait until Rocky is asleep.
Or, Grace tries to deal with her newfound (but maybe not so new) attraction towards her alien roommate.

Summary
The first thing to catch my attention is the orange formatting of the page. It looks familiar… but I can’t quite place it just yet. I check the top of the tab and sure enough… Rocky found Reddit.
I sigh. I had hoped that would never happen. Rocky excitedly continues, seemingly unable or unwilling to wait until I finish reading the text.
Found people discussing footage Grace sent back to earth! Talk much interesting topics, and Rocky also mentioned a lot! They say Rocky Grace know each other in the ♪♫♩♪ sense!
He almost jumps up and down in excitement.“What? How is that even- you know what never mind, need word, you used a new one there, bud.”
Oh, ♪♫♩♪, question? Is human religion, book way.
Book? Religion? What could he possibly- Oh. My. Gosh. I know what he means by that!
“Rocky do you mean in the biblical sense?!” My voice is high, almost indistinguishable from a shriek.
Or Rocky finds a subreddit of users discussing the nature of Grace and Rocky‘s relationship after the beetles return to earth and has quite a few questions.

Summary
Observation one: the scar Rocky left on my arm looks suspiciously similar to eridian typical mate marks.
Observation two: Rocky seems to be flirting with me.
First of all he keeps finding excuses to touch me, like brushing my knees and thighs as he walks by me, or “accidentally” bumping into me. And then there’s the comments…
He made one just yesterday, after I finished the last of my (frankly disgusting) coma slurry as he was observing me intently the entire time. That’s also strange. Didn’t he say eating was very private, almost intimate to his species?
Whatever, my point is, he perked up, trilling happily, and then almost playfully said, “Grace so good, swallow so prettily.”
That… he can’t not know what kind of insinuation that comment holds right?! Which brings me back to my notes:
Hypothesis one: Rocky thinks we are in a romantic relationship.
Hypothesis two: I’m totally loosing my mind and making connections where there are non. (I’m not very confident about Hypothesis two)
Or, Grace realises the scar on his arm is similar to Rocky’s mate mark and panics when Rocky (seemingly) out of nowhere starts flirting with him.
