The lifespan of a fly is about 25 days. Flies can bite, they can be injured by humans that get annoyed by the noise of their wings; Yes, they can make noise too. A fly can do a lot in 25 days.
In a world where a fly is trapped, where it blasts against the window trying to escape the human's space, and where the humans don't consider it as a thing worth living, a fly would be amazed by the thought of death.

Kaeya falls into unhealthy coping mechanisms, that slowly drive him to his death. -

Summary
He wasn't prepared to feel angry. He wasn't prepared to feel some kind of hatred toward his sworn brother who killed himself, but in that moment, he did.
Anger because he knew Kaeya didn't want to say all of this, because Kaeya didn't mean this. He sweetened up all his words with lies, and it hurt. Even after death, he couldn't let the mask fall, and he acted like dying wasn't such a life-changing experience. Kaeya acted like his life was a game, and the letter got that message through in a painful manner.

Summary
Gabriel Reyes was a man of his word.
A lifetime ago he had made a promise to Jack, to leave behind any issues and animosity on their anniversary. To remind themselves they were a unit, partners. To remember that they were people, outside of the roles they played.
In the years following the fall of headquarters, Reaper is left with nothing but the memories of a dead man and a promise that hangs like a noose.
This year, Reaper resolves to lay it all to rest.
To do that, he needs to finally confront the ghost of Jack and the trail of memories that haunt him.
Unfortunately for him, Reaper was just a part of Gabriel Reyes, and Jack Morrison would always be a part of Gabriel.

A inebriated Kaeya hopelessly fumbles with the bedsheets, his chest on full display to Diluc. Scars paint the undersides of his pecs and—Oh. Oh, Archons. Diluc stumbles a little, wobbly.
He’s going to be sick.
Violent burn scars tear into the flesh of Kaeya’s shoulder and a large portion of his collarbone. The skin is rippled, uneven edges to the red scars. There’s a large, thick scar that looks as if it were from a sword. A large one. Diluc’s sword--his claymore.
Diluc wishes he could be anywhere but here now.
He did that.
He caused that.
