Summary
“Lord Smith.” A door cracks open, and one of the house waiting staff slides through to examine the young viscount. “My lord, it’s your father.”
The viscount looks over his broadsheet copy of The Times, freshly printed on the new printing presses, at the man in the doorway. His hair, freshly uncurled from the curling papers his father hates so desperately, falls onto his forehead as he finally folds the paper carefully.
“What is it, Mr. Trott? Has the old bastard finally dropped dead?” The viscount stands and straightens his waistcoat, a pale green with delicate gold filigree. He rearranges his collar and fixes the cravat hanging about his neck, holding the firm stare of his employee for the duration.

“Said he had a couple of books you were after, is all,” Lockwood clicks his tongue, finishes his cake and flicks the wrapper at Scripps’s chest. “Anyway, I’d best be off. I’ve half a float of milk left to unload on some poor bastards. See you Monday, lads.”
He gives a half-hearted wave as he sees himself out, and Scripps finds himself inundated by particularly exhausted office staff for the next half hour, so doesn’t have chance to think any more on it.

“He was a threat before,” Scripps replies, rather more bluntly than he means to. “Given he got his arse kicked by a baby there suddenly seems less of a possibility that him or his maniac followers are going to kill someone I care about.”
Posner fixes him with an odd look for a moment, and Scripps wonders if he knows just how worried he’d been for his safety, how often he’d been thinking of him instead of his summer reading, how awful it’d been hearing of an attack but not knowing yet if he was safe.

Even after a subway ride there’s still dirt on him; a few crumbs of soil rain down on the floor as he takes off his bag. He smells earthy and fresh, like he’s been rolling around in a forest. “Thought you might want to paint them.”
Yusuke stays at Leblanc for longer.

Summary
In which Dorian is a special forces operative, Bull is his partner, and Cullen is the guy they're sent to rescue. Hijinks ensue.
Written because I wanted a story where Dorian rescues Cullen from physical danger. Because I like rescue-fic, and mainly what I've seen is the other way around (Cullen rescuing Dorian).
In the name of not leading people on...The E rating is for eventually (cf "slow burn" tag above): I'd say this is T rated until chapter 15, and it doesn't need the E rating until chapter 25. Just so's you know!
ETA: ART!!! Because there are few things I like better than badass Dorian.
