Summary
Aidan felt a spark of irritation at the simplicity of Fitz’s assurance, even if it was, by all accounts, sound advice. “But it’s like— if he is— well, I don’t know if he actually is. I’ve just been kinda confused about it lately. And I—”
“Aidan, I’m gonna ask you a question, and you have to actually take a second and think before you answer it.”
“Okay dude, what is it?”
“Why do you care so much about whether Austen is gay or not?”
…
Or, Aidan and his friends have always made gay jokes. They’re funny, they’re a hit with the fans, and they work wonders in carrying a bit along. It’s when recording a video for Imaginary Friends that one joke lands a bit differently for Aidan, and from then on, his world is spun a bit off its axis.

He was trying—failing—to come up with a plan. Something solid. Something that would make everything on the island make sense again. How would he take over everything, how the regime would work into everything, what he would do about The Federation.…and Ewroon.
OR: Ash is grieving after the loss of his daughter and Ewroon finds him in his pondering palace.

Steve dies fighting Vecna in 1986 and wakes up in 1983. It's okay, though, because a second try is always better than the first... Right?
