Max had barely gotten out of the way of the beer bottle hurtling towards him. It had been aimed for his head, clear intent to hit its target.
Across the room, Jos was now standing from his armchair. He swayed on his feet, finding it difficult to support his own weight under the influence. He picked up another bottle from the side table, this one only half empty. He charged toward the cowering Max, cornering him between the bookcase and the wall.

“I’m so fucking sorry guys.”
Oscar felt the tears prick at his eyes.
This was all wrong. He was meant to be a good driver who won races, has a really strong career and wins championships. He was supposed to enjoy this lifestyle and all the perks of it. Travelling the world, partying and doing everything else a rich person does. But right now he was driving his F1 car back into the garage because his migraine was making it hard to see and breathe.
