merlin panted softly to himself as he took a seat on the end of the bed, he’d just finished putting his pajamas on and was already out of breath. his back was sore and his ankles were swollen, while his belly was huge and round with the heir. “-and i told gwaine that if he believed he could outrun me, he was a fool.” arthur laughed low and throaty as he slid off his boots, having just come into their bedroom from a meeting with his knights.
“well, you’re all quite thick.” merlin hummed, steadying his breathing as he rubbed his belly. he was dressed in a simple gown as he slid into bed, holding onto his back as he stretched and laid down. he cleared his throat in an attempt to hide his labored breathing, tiring himself out from being so heavily pregnant.
