Summary
"We should probably talk about last night,” said Crowley, wanting more than anything to not talk about last night.
“We certainly should,” agreed Aziraphale, looking equally unenthusiastic about it.
The morning after Aziraphale returns from Heaven, Crowley wakes up in bed beside him with a pounding hangover and several regretful memories. This probably means they need to have some sort of conversation.
Satan bless it all.

Summary
“Decent class, but Dr. Fell has a weird sense of humour. Sometimes, he’d joke about how he knew some of the authors of the classics we were reading (all at least a century old) or how he was around back when they were being written. I’m assuming the jokes were his way of poking fun of his age, but his delivery made them seem serious, which made it less funny and more weird. Also, he showed us his card tricks in class once. They weren’t good. A few people acted impressed out of sympathy. This guy has too much time on his hands, and he’s not as funny as he thinks he is.”

Summary
After a few seconds, the kid looked back at Crowley, crossing his arms defensively. “What are you gonna do? Fight me? We both know who would win, gramps.”
Crowley laughed at that— he couldn’t help it.
“Look, I’ll give you one more chance, because my husband is a lot kinder than I am, and I know that’s what he’d want. But you’re on very thin ice, Matthew, so I suggest you choose your next words carefully.”
Matthew narrowed his eyes. “I’m not scared of you.”
“Oh, you should be.”

Summary
At precisely 3pm, a wannabe rockstar strode through the door of the classroom. He looked utterly out of place among the colorful, hand drawn posters and the bright, cheerful walls. As he confidently sprawled across the child-size chair that was situated across from Mrs. Morrison’s desk, there was only one thought on her mind.
This explains a lot.
—Wherein Aziraphale and Crowley have a celestial child and decide to send them to a normal elementary school, told from the perspective of the teacher.

Dear Crowley,
I couldn’t help but notice that you’ve sent me more than one message since telling me that it was your “one exception”. Does this mean that you’ve reconsidered, and have agreed to continue electronic communication with me?
Sincerely,
AziraphaleAzira-fail,
I’ve decided to keep replying to your ridiculous messages because it’s the best entertainment I’ve gotten in weeks. Just know that I could stop doing this at any time. This isn’t some sort of agreement, and it doesn’t mean we’re friends again.
Also, please stop calling it electronic communication. It’s email.
—Crowley——————

Summary
Crowley didn’t bother explaining any further, instead placing his head back in his hands. “I don’t even know why I’m saying anything nice about him. I’m not supposed to be nice. Besides, I should be focusing on everything else he’s got wrong with him, and trust me, there’s a lot.”
“Like what?” asked Warlock, who suddenly seemed interested in the conversation again now that he knew he could get some dirt on kind old Brother Francis.
“Well, he’s always living in the past, for one. And furthermore, he’s naive, and petty, and he can be so obnoxiously pretentious, and…” Crowley’s voice trailed off, looking for more negative qualities, but only finding one agonizing truth. “...And I miss him so much that it physically hurts.”

The last person Crowley expects to run into a few months after his fight with Aziraphale is Warlock. Luckily for him, Warlock is an expert at helping people through breakups (according to Warlock, that is).

Summary
Crowley cut him off. “Look, I’m not exactly normal either, am I?”
Aziraphale hadn’t really considered this before. Sure, Crowley had his own things, and Aziraphale was well aware of that. Still, when Crowley showed these quirks, it was endearing. When Aziraphale showed his own, he felt ashamed.
“So when my behavior isn’t ‘normal’, you don’t hate me for that, right? You don’t think I’m wrong or embarrassing, do you?” He said it cooly and nonchalantly, though in truth a small part of him was worried that the angel actually might.
“Of course not,” said Aziraphale, with a confidence that instantly put Crowley’s fears to rest.
Crowley looked back at Aziraphale, expression still serious. “Well then, why do you think you’re wrong and embarrassing when you do them?”

Summary
Aziraphale didn’t like to consider himself a self-centered individual. He also wasn’t one for jumping to conclusions without considering all potential sides of a story. This is why he put aside his initial thought of, “good heavens, Crowley has written an entire folder of poetry about me”, and tried to think of other possible explanations.
Really, an “angel with hair that glows like the stars” could have been anybody.

Summary
Crowley passed the piece of cake to Aziraphale, silently.
Aziraphale nodded in appreciation.
Crowley sneered in response.
“This doesn’t change anything, by the way,” said Crowley, quickly. “I still hate you. But there’s no other interesting person to talk to at this Satan-Forsaken event, and I’m bored out of my mind.”
When Crowley goes to Gabriel and Beelzebub’s wedding reception, he expects to stand in a corner, get wasted, and talk to nobody. What he doesn’t expect is to run into Aziraphale, who he hasn’t seen since the day he left for heaven.

Summary
“Don’t take it up with me, take it up with the creator of the game.”
“Who’s the creator of the game?”
Aziraphale thought back to what it said when they had first turned it on.
“An ape, apparently.”
“They’re all apes,” said Crowley, “Doesn’t narrow it down much.”
“Well, yes, but this one is concerned.”
“Concerned with what?”
Aziraphale glanced at the screen, hoping to find some kind of further explanation somewhere.
“Doesn’t say.”
