It’s odd, to see these people without their uniforms, their miserable faces. It’s something she’s not used to, and she doesn’t want to think about them as actual people, rather than adversaries that she was supposed to fight against.
Ji-yeong looks a little lost, not used to being outside, away from prisoners and guards, dressed in Korean prison guard uniforms or red jumpsuits alike.
She wonders if that’s why the other girl has stayed with her for so long instead of leaving like the rest of them.

Summary
Dream still remains silent, attempting to figure out an escape route. Town is just a little ways back, but even if he does make it there, people are more likely to grab him and hold him down while he gets beaten or worse, whether for a cut of the rewards or just for entertainment.
Dream has never really been one to fight, preferring to slink around the server without getting his ass handed to him, but he needs to adapt. He’s tired of running, tired of being chased like a rabid dog that needs to be put down.

George isn’t sure why this thing keeps following him around, other than protection, as the thing says. But with his list of allies constantly dwindling, he needs it, along with whatever the thing is willing to offer him.
It’s his only friend, after all.
If it reminds him of Dream, then no one needs to know. Dream isn’t dead, but he might as well be, locked inside the inescapable prison that looms over the rest of them, an implicit threat. Dream, the one that George knew, is gone, if the broken mask that Sapnap gave him is any indication.

Summary
Barbie is learning how to function and thrive in her new life. Everything would be perfect in its imperfections if it hadn’t turned out that her becoming human is giving Ken weird side effects over in Barbie Land. For now, those side effects are soothed if he occasionally comes to stay with Barbie and her Real World family, but that’s not going to work forever. Barbie just wishes Ken were willing to understand that.
