    [FIC IS ON HIATUS AS OF 2ND FEBRUARY 2025]

    Life is cushy, working on a subterranean research facility on an underexplored ocean planet. As the resident handyman, most of your work takes place underwater - lucky for you, cave diving is your passion. With the building between bi-annual research teams, and the next lot yet to arrive, you find yourself with an excess of free time. All you have to do is fulfil your weekly duties, prepare the facility for the next team of researchers, and relax. Oh, and track down the net that went missing some time ago.

    And then you find it.
    In a submerged cave.
    Trapping a mermaid.

    You really wish this wasn't your responsibility.

    (Moon thinks he should have listened to Sun and stuck to hunting in warmer waters. Why does this bizarre two-tailed mermaid keep coming at him with sharp instruments?)

That quirk is not a part of One For All.” All Might takes a deep breath and tells Izuku all about the origin of One For All and the evil man who created it. He pauses for a moment at the end of the story. "Young Midoriya, can you tell me about your father?”

    Izuku blanches. “I— what? Why?” he demands. But he knows where this is going, he knows what he can do, he just desperately wishes it’s not true.

    “You have his quirk, my boy. You have All For One.”

     

    TLDR: One for All forces the manifestation of Izuku's original quirk. The one he inherited from his father.

    Rumi and Ryuko have been looking for a mate for as long as they’ve been together. Maybe looking is the wrong word. They both acknowledge that at some point they should find one. Or at least they both pay lip service to it. Rumi hates the idea. She hates that her body can’t be satisfied with just Ryuko. She hates that Ryuko needs more than her. But biology is biology, so she accepts it can happen.

    But she won’t go down without a fight. If the prospective mate can’t force her and Ryuko into submission, then they aren’t her damn Alpha. And it better be at the same time, because her and Ryuko are a unit. And really, somebody breaking the combined might of the strongest women of Japan? Don’t make Rumi laugh.

    Izuku's life has changed drastically in the past year; he went from a homeless orphan, to a Hero Course student with the help of the two Pro Heroes that he calls his parents, picked up some friends along the way, improved his mental health and on top of that, he keeps getting away with his vigilantism.
    Only, if he could just get a single moment of peace, that would be great, because disaster seems to follow him around wherever he goes. Maybe his vigilantism is to blame for that, or perhaps his secret Immortality Quirk, or maybe even the fact that he knows too much for his own good, thanks to his analysis skills...

    Hopefully, going to UA won't be too chaotic. Although, keeping up the act of being Quirkless to protect himself from villains and having the literal Symbol of Peace as his new teacher will probably make staying out of trouble a lot harder.
