Summary
As the Straw Hats set sail from Wano, there’s a different kind of tension between the swordsman and the cook. Neither want to confront the conversation they had mid-battle, but as Sanji’s anxiety boils over, Zoro steps up to help.
*****
“After the dust settles, if I’m no longer myself, I want you to put me down.”
The swordsman clicked his tongue, the memory sour in his mouth. He hadn’t had a chance to talk to the cook, even after they departed Wano. Not that he sought Sanji out. If anything, the worm of uncertainty kept Zoro out of the cook’s sights. As each Straw Hat nursed some sort of wound, he’d been using it as an excuse to not pick a fight with the cook. Not that injuries had ever stopped the two from fighting the second their eyes met. And while the fire of competition boiled under Zoro’s skin, the usual feeling was numbed. Each glance he stole at Sanji left his mouth dry and his chest heavy. It wasn’t the comforting squeeze of a hug from Luffy or even the oppressive weight of a barbell between reps. His chest felt nearly hollow each time he and the cook crossed paths.

Summary
When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

zugzwang: in chess, the obligation to move, when any move at all will be bad
"A game of chess, Detective. I assume you know how to play. You win, and you and your family may leave freely. I win, and you take your place as my heir and I dispose of the others as I see fit."
Tim stopped breathing.
Ra's spread his hands, still smiling that condescending crocodile grin. "Our skills are evenly matched. The challenge is more than fair."
All a game, just win. All a game, just win. Just win, just win, win, win...
Keep your head.

Summary
“The Red Hood has been good for Gotham,” Robin continued. “Crime in Park Row decreased by sixty one percent almost as soon as you showed up, and that’s even taking into account all the crime you commit. Drug overdoses have decreased by twenty two percent in adults and seventy nine percent in minors. Homeless minors are ninety two percent less likely to—”
“Kid,” Jason interrupted. “Enough statistics. What the hell is this about?”
Robin slowly lowered the tablet with his powerpoint presentation and looked up at Red Hood.
“You care about Gotham,” Robin summarised. “Gotham needs Batman. Batman is missing and so is Nightwing. We need you to fill in for Batman.”
“You want me to cover Batman’s patrols?” Jason clarified.
“No,” Robin said. “I want you to be Batman.”
Jason bluescreened.
(Or: Batman and Nightwing mysteriously disappear before Red Hood has even started antagonising them, Robin is desperate, Gotham needs Batman, and Red Hood is Batman-Shaped.)
