Day 3: Enemies to lovers
Karl had been tutoring the same low life for the majority of his senior year, and with little to no progress being made, he was seriously considering giving up.
He had been assigned the most helpless kid in the whole class; the one who couldn’t get off his phone to answer a question, the one who was incapable of bringing his own materials to study sessions, the one who didn’t bother to learn any of the criteria in class, and most definitely not outside of class.
Karl had been assigned Sapnap.
(In other words, Karl has feelings for the most annoying person he could've possibly fallen for.)

Karl was there physically, but he wasn’t there, not really.
“Are you…” Sapnap spoke slowly, bringing his hand’s movements to a halt. “Are you alright?”
“I-” Karl paused for a moment before moving out of the safety of Sapnap’s arms. He wiped his eyes, standing up straight, and moved to step forward into the house. He grimaced as he put weight down on his foot. “Yes. I’m fine.”
“Karl.” He objected. “You can barely walk.”
“I’m fine.” Karl argued.
“I can tell that you’re not.” He gestured down at Karl’s injured foot that he was shifting weight off of. “Just stop being so stubborn and let me help you… Please?”
Karl paused for a moment, an unreadable expression on his face. After a moment, he sighed, giving in. “Okay.”
“Yeah?”
Or, Karl shows up on Sapnap's doorstep one night.

Day 6: Practice Kissing
“You are such a blessing, thank you.” He pulled his hands back to his chest, playing with them in a far more pleased way now. Stimming, the word was stimming, Dream knew that even if it was odd to identify it in someone else. Flapping one hand so the fingers bounced between the fingers of the other, a subtle movement that Dream probably would have missed if he wasn’t staring intently at Karl’s rings. They were a safer choice than his neck or his joyful face, though now Dream thinking about veins again.
“Are we doing it like, now?” Dream asked and Karl paused as if he hadn’t even thought about it.
“Uh, we can! That’d probably be smart. Early bird gets the worm, right?”
“Okay.” Dream tried to think of where they could do it that wouldn’t get too awkward but Karl was already stepping forward and-
Jesus, Karl was straddling his lap.

Dream didn't expect much from Karl peeking into his room and asking for a favor. For sure, Karl blurting out a story about kissing Sapnap and then needing to be better at kissing than Sapnap wasn't high on his guesses. But here he was, Karl sitting on his lap and asking for a kissing lesson. How could he say no?

“You’re cute,” he says, low, and his words seem to sear into Karl’s core, making his heart thump uncomfortably hard against his chest. It’s said so quietly that even he has to strain to hear it, the words that are for him and him alone. Sapnap’s hands move up, brushing past his arms and settling on his flushed cheeks. Karl swallows, leans into the touch when the former’s thumb runs faintly over his cheek, the rough pads of his fingers and the calluses on his palms a sharp contrast to the soft skin under his touch.
He wets his lips, watching when Sapnap’s eyes flicker down to follow the movement, observing how his eyes grow darker and his mouth parts almost unnoticeably. “Am I?” He giggles quietly, nervousness seeping into his tone.
Christmas parties have never been fun.
Christmas parties with Sapnap? An exception, maybe.

Sapnap is lonely.
Like, really fucking lonely.
Living with Dream doesn’t exactly present many opportunities for physical touch and contact with other people, and while he doesn’t necessarily consider himself “touch-starved”, he’s getting really fucking sick of using Patches to sate his desires to cuddle. And while he’s joked about cuddling the blond multiple times, it almost doesn’t feel right to seriously ask, as if he’s going to be denied and tossed out onto the street. Which is, arguably, probably one of the stupidest things he’s thought about in a while, but rationalizing the situation doesn’t help.

Their bodies were flushed close for a moment. Sapnap felt something strange forming inside him. Butterflies fluttered in his stomach, making him reel from the feeling. Sapnap snapped from his daze and withdrew from Karl, muttering a quick ‘sorry’. Karl also apologized before giggling, the noise infectious as Sapnap joined him.
He thinks for a second, chalking up that strange feeling to being touch starved because of the quarantine.
But it never went away, flaring up stronger when Karl gives Sapnap one of his old rings. Karl’s touch lingered one second too long after he finished fitting the jewelry on Sapnap’s ring finger. Something was really up.
Or when Sapnap finds out he's not as straight as he thinks.
