Jotaro looked up at the enraged, beautiful face looming over him, at the being who thought this moment was a grand victory, a checkmate in some cosmic game. He felt nothing. No fear, no anger. Not even annoyance anymore. Just a profound sense of weariness.
He let out a small, almost inaudible sigh.
“I’m not the only Power, y’know,” Jotaro said, his voice a flat, unimpressed monotone that cut through Dio’s gloating like a shard of ice. “It’s not like I’m special.”
