LDPDLLestat froze, emotion almost betraying him until he remembered he wasn’t in the room alone. He and Louis hadn’t seen each other in months. They had texted here and there in the last year and a half, but so much of the progress they had made after reuniting in New Orleans was blown to bits from the bomb that was "Interview with the Vampire." Well. He wasn’t going to let Louis’ pathetic attempt at pretty bribery ruin his night, was he? There were songs to sing, Beautiful Unwell to seduce, and partying to be had...

Summary
Louis’ hand is cold when Lestat holds it, his face like ice when Lestat touches his jaw. His heart hammers against his ribs.
Instinct kicks in.
Lestat slits his wrist with a sharp nail, bringing it to Louis’ unmoving, beautiful lips, letting blood spill over his chin like a cascade.
“What are you doing?!” Gabriella again. Her voice irritates him.
“He needs my blood,” Lestat answers, not taking his eyes away from Louis’ still figure.
“What? You’re not well enough to do this, Lestat!” Cookie’s voice now. “You lost a lot of blood, they’re giving him blood already, there’s no need—”
“He needs mine!” He shouts, losing all composure, only then feeling the tears angrily stream down his face. He thinks of Louis’ reaction to the taste of his blood at the bar, the first time that century. His hollowed cheeks, eyes rolling to the back of his skull. Lestat wants to fall to his knees and weep. “I know it, he needs mine. It’ll help him! Just… Just let me do this…”

Trinity has had enough, and Dennis vows to stop. Though Robby’s mixed signals make that very hard. (They’ll work it all out in the end.)
