DSMP Headcannons

Summary:

Just a bunch of DSMP headcannons and scenarios I’ve collected over the last few months. They’re all my own personal ones, but if you’ve got something similar, we should talk. I like talking about this stuff.

Notes:

!These are all about the characters and the role play, not the actual content creators!

Nothing in a particular order, but they’re kind of grouped together based on loose similarities.
These are mostly SBI and Beeduo with some other characters sprinkled in there for some flavor.
There is a specialized angst chunk in the middle of this, and there’s a line for warning. It’s nothing terrible, but the warning tags are there for a reason, so, just be careful. It gets a little heavy.

Anyone is free to use these in their own writing and whatnot, but please tell me beforehand, and use credit.

Anyways, have fun reading!

Work Text:

* Sapnap wears his headband all the time because, when he was younger, him, Dream, and George were fucking around, throwing a frisbee. Because they were young, and stupid.

    * Long story short, at one point, the edge of the frisbee caught Sapnap in the forehead, cutting deep. Now he has a scar, that healed horribly, by the way, and he hides it under his headband. Because unlike his friends, his facial scar is from some stupid childhood accident with a fucking frisbee, and not some epic badass battle with swords and shit.

    * Dream and George will not let him live it down.

            * Karl will come up behind Sapnap, gently tug off his headband, and he’ll begin to gingerly trace his thumb over the long healed-over scar as a comfort to Sapnap when he gets stressed or overwhelmed, and Sapnap will sigh and lean into the touch.

            * For shits and giggles, or when Sapnap is especially stressed, just to lighten his mood, Karl will draw his thumb over the scar and slowly whisper “S i m b a”. That usually get both of them giggling for a solid couple of minutes, no matter the original mood in the room.

* Karl will constantly use cheesy pick up lines on Sapnap that will leave them both laughing for days

    * One of his favorites that he’s overused is: “Are you the son of a demon? Because you’re hot as hell.”

    * Immediate bursts of laughter ensue and Sapnap going, “Dude, shut up!” All while smiling like a doofus.

            * The first time Karl used that line, Dream was in the room and it was so sudden and said with out any context, that it earned one of his signature wheeze laughs.

* Speaking of that, Dreams wheeze laugh carries into his character. His character also does the laugh. Not as often as CC!Dream, but it exists within him all the same.

* Sapnap has fangs that he has to file down and take care of, so they don’t grow too much.

    * He eats a lot of meat as somewhat of a natural file, but most of the time he has to do it manually.

* Sapnap rarely takes off the headband, and he can’t sleep most nights with the back of his head on his pillow because the knot in his headband digs into his scalp. He almost always has to sleep with his head to the side.

* Karl chews on his hoodie sleeves or drawstrings

* Dream has an incredibly uncanny ability to learn and forge someone’s handwriting, almost perfectly, in less than a day, and once he’s learned it, it stays with him forever.

    * His current handwriting is an elegant amalgamation of other players.

    * It’s always changing, though, based on his most current forgery.

            * It’s also why Ranboo couldn’t tell that Dream was writing in his Memory Book. The handwriting looked almost indistinguishable from his own, and he didn’t find out until later when he actually looked at the pages.

* Dream also a scary amount of medical knowledge, as do Techno and Phil.

* Dream physically has more than one heart.

* Callahan is selectively mute, so he either writes notes, or uses sign language to communicate.

    * His handwriting is really nice because of it.

* Sam walks with a limp.

* When he was younger, and the voices were new and unfamiliar and harsher in tone and harder to control, Techno used to pull out chunks of his hair trying to get them to stop. When he got adopted by Phil, and Phil once made an off-hand comment of “how nice the color of his hair was, and such a shame he was tearing it out.”, Techno made a silent pact with himself. He would find a way to calm down the voices. To ignore them, to stop pulling out his hair. So that’s what he did. For himself and for Phil.

    * He does, though, have a mess of thin, crescent-shaped scars scattered around on his palms, from him clenching his fists so hard that his nails dig into his hands.

            * He’s gotta grab something other than his hair when the voices get too overwhelming.

    * And his knuckles are almost constantly either split open or scabbed over from punching walls.

            * So are Wilbur’s.

    * The length of Techno’s hair, however, and how long it’s gotten, is a physical reminder of how far he’s come, and he takes great pride in it.

    * And so does Phil.

            * And if, one day, it does get shorter, whether it be because of a battle mishap or a potions accident or he simply needs it cut because it’s gotten too long to physically manage, he’ll be okay, because he’s not the one forcibly causing it to get shorter.

* Techno’s hair feels very thick and course, like horse hair, and it fades to a very pale pink, almost white, at the very ends. And he has dark pinkish-brown roots.

    * It’s why he braids it. Horse hair, or horse-like hair, is difficult to manage, so most of the time he ends up just saying “fuck it” and putting it up one way or another.

    * Half up-half down, braid, ponytail, anything. Just get it out of his face.

    * His hair is now almost permanently wavy or curly because of how often it’s braided.

    * When Techno does have his hair braided, it’s got smaller braids riddled through it, Rapunzel style.

* Phil taught Techno how to braid hair, Techno taught Wil, Wil taught Tommy, Tommy taught Tubbo, and Tubbo taught Ranboo.

* Tubbo’s hair feels like sheep’s wool.

    * It also has golden and blonde strands in it.

            * Tubbo thinks they look strange. They’re terribly noticeable, and Tubbo wished his hair was more consistent, like Tommy, or Phil.

            * Ranboo says he likes the way they shimmer in the sunlight. Makes his hair almost glow like a halo in the right lighting.

    * Because it does have the consistency of sheep’s wool, though, it gets matted more easily. So, when he feels like it, Tubbo will find where Ranboo or Tommy is sitting, flop over into their lap, and they know the drill. To start carding their fingers through his hair so it doesn’t get tangled.

* Ranboo has the ability to sleep standing up, like a horse. He doesn’t prefer doing it, but he has the ability to.

    * If not standing up, he curls up like a cat. Head on his hands, tail resting over his head. He pulls himself into the smallest possible ball he can wind himself into. He does that because of 2 reasons:

            * He’s tall and really fucking lanky, so normal beds don’t fit him anyways.

            * He lived in a poorly shoved together shack on the side of a mountain in the snow for weeks, probably months. His thin, borderline malnourished-looking body has gotta conserve body heat in anyway he can.

* Tommy and Tubbo can sleep anywhere. Standing up, sitting down, on the floor, on a shelf, in a hole in the ground, etc.

* Tubbo has a very naturally bouncy walk, almost like a prance, or a frolicking deer, where as Ranboo is very hunched over and slow and every step is deliberate.

    * Ranboo, because of his sleeping and walking habits, has absolutely horrid back problems. But he doesn’t stretch in public because he’s afraid if he does it will stretch him out too much, and with his already freakishly lanky body, it will look contorted and unnatural and freak others out.

            * But Phil has found out and now Ranboo and Phil do daily (or every other day) stretches. Whatever they can get to is progress enough for Phil. If Phil can prevent his kids from hurting themselves because of their own stupidity, you can bet sure as hell bet he’s gonna do it.

* Ranboo’s skin markings and patterning are not completely symmetrical. He has white flecks and patches on his black side, and vise-versa.

    * So parts of his black side look like actual vitiligo, whereas, as Tubbo has so lovingly put it, the black spots and patches on his white side make him look like a Dalmatian.

* Ranboo paces around, a lot.

    * It started as a habit back in his shack to build up body heat, but now it’s basically just a nervous stim.

* Ranboo’s crown is actually one of Techno’s. It’s one that Techno lost during a battle, a battle he only distantly remembers fighting altogether, much less with who. But Ranboo found it lying on the ground in a forest when he was younger. He kept it because he’d figure someone would come to claim it, but no one ever did. Also, it’s shiny.

    * He does still feel bad about it, though. Guilty, almost. It must have belonged to someone of some importance, being what it was. Ranboo almost feels like he’s stolen it. But he also feels it’s too late to give it back now.

    * Techno is fully aware that the crown is his, but he doesn’t mention it to Ranboo. Ranboo would most likely spout off endless apologies and futile efforts to give it back, but Techno has his current crown. He doesn’t need his old one.

    * Besides, it looked good on Ranboo, and he’s always catching Tubbo staring at the jewels encrusted in it, an almost childlike fascination painted on his scruffy face at the glittery rocks.

            * Micheal likes to look at the shiny crown too.

    * Techno couldn’t take that away from them, and lucky for him, he doesn’t need to.

* Techno got his first ever crown when he was first with Phil. It was a flimsy paper one, taped together and sticker plastic jewels haphazardly stuck on, as a joke after reading a fairytale about a Prince and a Knight. Techno liked it so much, though, when he got old enough and figured out how to work metal, also because of Phil, he made himself a real crown, fashioned after the paper one.

    * It was made of iron and painted with copper paint, gold flecks sprinkled in from a shaved golden carrot.

            * Techno still has the original paper crown. It’s in a chest next to his bed, folded up and collecting dust, but he just can’t bring himself to part with it.

* Techno has adorned himself with jewelry, all of it handmade. Delicate gold chains, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, all of it pure gold, all of it encrusted with precious jewels. He jingles when he walks because of it, but it’s not a pleasant noise to most. That friendly jingle becomes less friendly when it’s quickly followed by an explosion and, usually, death and chaos.

    * But the jingling also lets Phil knows when he’s home, so that’s a nice bonus.

* He also fiddles with the jewelry quite a bit because it keeps his brain preoccupied. And when his brain is busy, the voices aren’t so loud.

* Techno has shit eyesight and hearing. Both are poor and failing for the same reason. Reason being: his main weapon of choice.

    * Yeah, way to go smart guy. Because your dramatic ass has to constantly use a fireworks display as crossbow ammo. Good job.

    * Techno has learned not to look directly into the flash of the fireworks now. He did when he was younger and reckless and figured things couldn’t hurt him.

            * He regrets that now.

    * Because of this, Techno has glasses and has learned basic sign language. Which is helpful in other ways too. Phil, Wilbur, Tommy, and Tubbo all have shit hearing from other “explosive incidents” as well.

    *  So when their hearing decides to be especially bad one day or they’re all just too tired and lazy to actually talk, or god forbid someone have a panic attack because ✨t r a u m a✨ that renders them mute for a while, sign language is a pretty useful tool to have for communication in inconvenient situations.

* Ranboo, on the other hand, has absolutely fantastic hearing.

    * He has very large, almost elf-ish ears, and they twitch and flick like a cats.

            * Also, when he sneezes, that’s also very cat-like. It’s small and quiet, and he scrunches his nose and shakes his head.

* Because Techno’s eyesight and hearing is failing, his other senses have heightened, especially his taste and smell.

    * He’s an absolutely amazing cook, baker, and potions maker because of this.

* Phil’s real form is similar to that of a biblically accurate angel.

* Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy all do the “wing stretch”. They all picked it up from Phil, who, because he actually has wings, has a very consistent shoulder stretch he does almost every time he gets up from sitting for too long.

    * Best part is, none of the boys know they all do the same thing for the same reason. Phil has noticed, but refuses to tell them because he’s afraid it’ll make them stop, and it makes him proud that they’ve all subconsciously picked up something from him.

                * Wilbur’s is more of a stim than an actual stretch, though.

* Whenever Tubbo sits behind Ranboo, he’ll absentmindedly run his fingers through the fluff at the end of Ranboo’s tail.

    * When it’s Michael who sits behind Ranboo, he’ll watch and swat at his tail, like a cat-toy. It flicks and twitches and it’s fun to play with.

* Ranboo purrs.

* When either Ranboo or Tubbo give Michael piggyback rides, he holds on to their horns. When it’s Phil, he holds on to his wings or his hat.

* Ranboo doesn’t understand when Tubbo uses pick up lines on him.

* Ranboo has a horrible sense of time management. He has time blindness. He’s missed so many events because of that, mixed with his already shit memory.

* Phil, Tommy, and Wilbur all bite, peel, and pick at their lips until they bleed because of anxiety.

* When Techno was younger, Phil used to take him flying around. Techno doesn’t really like heights, and when he would look scared, Phil would hold him tighter, closer, and calmly say, “It’s okay, I won’t let go. I’ll never let go of you.”

* Angst Chunk Begins.

* ————————————————————————————————————

* Wilbur wears thicker clothes, like coats and sweaters, because it’s harder for him to feel the dried blood and his scar through it.

* Techno, being the absolutely dramatic bitch he is, sees wars and battles as a sort of...graceful dance. It’s some pattern of steps, beating oh so rhythmically to the music of screams and bloodshed. It’s a pattern of steps he mastered years ago. He doesn’t take any sort of pleasure in the fact that he’s mastered the steps, but he does take pride in it.

* When Tommy has night terrors or panic attacks, depending on whose around, certain things will occur:

    * Wilbur will bundle Tommy up in his coat with his arm around him, rubbing circles into his shoulder, humming one of his songs softly, while Tommy will bury his head into Wilbur’s neck or hair. Sometimes, to get Tommy to snap out of his more severe ones, Wilbur will grab him by the shoulders, ask him to breathe, and make Tommy sing lyrics with him.

    * Techno will drape his cloak over him, pat him on the back, kiss his forehead and either sit on the other side of the bed, or stand on the other side of the room for....emotional support from afar.

            * Once, Tommy’s attack got worse and he clung to the closest thing near him. Which just happen to be Techno. Techno had to sit there for a few seconds, chuckling in shock as Tommy clung to him. “Woah, hey there, kid. You’re okay-“ He could feel his tears through his shirt. Eventually, getting over his shock, he hugged Tommy back, running a hand through his hair until he calmed down.

    * Phil will wrap his wings around Tommy, hugging him tightly. He’ll run his hand up and down his back, let Tommy’s head fall into his chest, feel his shoulders shake, and whisper “Shhh....Hey, it’s okay mate. You’ll be okay. It’s not real, but I am. You’re here. You’re safe. Shhh...”

* Techno’s hands are permanently a pale, consistent pink color because of the sheer amount of blood that’s stained them.

* Tommy yells because he feels like he’s never really heard, but gets skittish and defensive when others yell at or around him, because yelling towards him has always meant punishment, and that he’s done something wrong.

* Tommy and Tubbo don’t hold hands when they walk. They hold one another’s wrist so they can feel each other’s pulse and feel secure that the other is alive and breathing.

* Phil doesn’t like framed windows because they remind him too much of bars and being in a cage.

* Techno despises being touched, especially when it’s unprompted. It sends a sickening jolt through his body, and it makes him feel dirty, and just...wrong. He has horrible reflexes to it, too. Usually punching or kicking whatever, or whoever, touched him. With Phil’s help, he’s slowly getting better at controlling his responses, but he’s been used, so many times in his life, and not just as a weapon. Unprompted gentle touches, or ginger caresses, something Dream just happens to be notorious for, none of them, not a single touch like that, whether it’s from Dream or not, has a good memory or feeling attached to it.

    * Though, Techno is slowly starting to get a better connotation with softer touches. Very slowly. But at some point, after Techno had a break down because of the voices, Phil ended up holding his face in his hands, drawing a thumb across his cheek, wiping away the stray, silent tears that had found themselves sliding down his face. Techno had flinched at first, but quickly melted into the gentle touch and falling into a sloppy hug with Phil, still crying, but smiling.

* Not only does Techno have really bad auditory hallucinations, they, along with his insomnia, can bring about a slew of other issues. Not too often, but once every couple of months, Techno gets really bad visual hallucinations to go along with his auditory ones. Drives his already problematic insomnia through the roof.

    * He’ll see past enemies he’s slaughtered standing in the corner of his room, or he’ll wake up in the middle of the night, sheets soaked with blood that isn’t his, or his hair will fall out in whispy, desaturated, dead chunks.

            * Phil can’t do much when Techno gets like this, he’s learned they’ve just gotta wait it out. He gets so uncharacteristically fragile in these 24-48 hours he’s like this, and it shatters Phil’s heart and makes his chest ache with an unfamiliar and utter helplessness.

            * It’s a lot of screaming in the middle of the night. Thrashing around. Breaking things. Though, when Techno gets really bad, and it gets really overwhelming, the violences ceases and he shuts down entirely. Which hurts Phil even more, because it means he’s given up. Given in. Succumbing to the visions.

            * It’s strange to see the man you’ve known for decades, the man you’ve seen plow through cities and kingdoms, leaving nothing but a bloody trail in his wake, to see him cowering in a corner, unshed tears kept in his eyes only by his head held in hands, despite the sobs still wracking his body, his crown long since abandoned in front of him, whimpering and whispering weakly,

            * “Please...stop...Make it stop.....I didn’t mean to....it wasn’t me.....it was the voices....it wasn’t me....

            * stop.....please....”

* A few weeks after his execution, Techno had a hard time putting on his crown because the weight of something like that on his head reminded him too much of the anvil.

    * He’ll still wake up in a cold sweat and have to grab at his head, because a vivid nightmare made him believe he was still in that cage, but his hands are empty this time. He can still feel his skull caving in.

* Ranboo internally panicked for, like, a week once because Tubbo had said, “Things that are uneven piss me off.” As an off hand comment while building something, and Ranboo irrationally took that personally and figured Tubbo didn’t like his markings either for the same reason and had just never told him to spare his feelings.

    * Eventually, Ranboo’s panic became easier to see from the outside, and it prompted Tubbo to ask what was making him like this. When Ranboo responded, Tubbo’s face softened, he cupped Ranboo’s cheek, and said, “Ranboo, I didn’t mean you. I was talking about the walls and shit. You’re perfect to me. Every part, every marking. Perfectly placed.”

    * Ranboo had looked at him, eyes round and pained. “Really? Because I think my markings are a mess.” A small, self-deprecating smile pulling at the edges of his mouth.

    * Tubbo nodded, “Yes, you’re perfect to me. Always have been, always will be. Promise.”

* Ranboo has really bad, really inconvenient amnesia spells. Like, he'll be in the middle of an active conversation with someone, and then suddenly disassociate for a minute or two and when he comes back to, he'll have this thought of 'who are you and why are you talking-?'

    * Sometimes it'll comeback to him in a timely manner, sometimes not.

    * It's worse than other times.

            * Where am I?

            * Who's Tubbo?

            * Micheal? Do I know a Michael?

    * Eventually, most of the time, important things will come back to him, but occasionally he'll forget really stupid things like how to hold a pickaxe while mining or how to use doors.

* ————————————————————————————————————

* Angst Chunk Ends.

* Fundy yips like a fox when he’s happy.

    * Fundy also curls up with his tail over his head when he sleeps

    * If he’s scared, his tail will wrap around his legs and his ears will pin back.

    * When he’s excited, his tail bounces.

* Out of instinct, Fundy will randomly go head first into snowdrifts.

* Fundy thinks it’s strange how some of his friends keep foxes as pets.

* Someone, at some point, has given Fundy a collar as a joke.

* Fundy runs a Fox Rehabilitation Center. If he finds them injured in the wild, he takes them in, nurses them back to health, and releases them. He can’t keep them, it feels wrong.

* Techno is extremely intelligent, with a vast knowledge on numerous subjects. He also can’t spell to save his life.

* Tommy is one of those people to be for the vaccine, masks, social distancing, etc. But he’s also one to pull down his mask (at a safe distance) and yell at someone, calling them out on their bullshit, pull up his mask and walk in the other direction, as if he didn’t just make a scene in a public place. He doesn’t care.

* Dream’s hoodie pocket acts like a Never-ending Bag. It’s always great when he’s in battle and looks unarmed and then is able to suddenly pull out a full battle axe, a sword, and a bundle of dynamite out of his pocket.

* Dream also likes to pop and crack every single joint he has. Really obnoxiously. People freak out at it and he thinks it’s fucking hilarious.

* Dream made his mask, and though it’s been broken and remade, a many a times, out of several materials, it’s currently a thick, very durable plastic. Past materials have included: Wood, porcelain, clay, bone, even a metal one once.

* Techno is really good at telling and making up stories.

    * It’s s always fun for Michael when uncle Techno comes over to babysit and is able to tell these long, drawn-out, fantastical tales.

    * He’s good at it because he reads, a lot, in his free time.

            * Reading means there’s other things, like thoughts, and themes, and characters, and plots running through his brain, and not a painful silence. It shuts up the voices for a while.

* Techno’s favorite flowers are white roses and apple blossoms

    * Tubbo likes sunflowers, Wilbur likes lavender and Forget Me Nots, Ranboo also likes Forget Me Nots, along with rosemary sprigs, Tommy likes poppies, and Phil has a collection of succulents.

            * Phil has quite a large aloe plant he adores named “Prick.” (Tommy named it.)

    * Niki likes water lilies, Eret likes strawberry blossoms and purple orchids.

* Techno, Tommy, and Wilbur all keep one of Phil’s feathers on them, as a sign of hope, family, familiarity, and trust.

* Ranboo is a hemophiliac

* Tommy pulls and tugs at his bandana as a stim

    * Ranboo pulls a lot on his collar for the same reason

* Ranboo has to duck under doorways.

    * Whenever Tubbo and Ranboo build anything together, especially their house, Tubbo made sure the door frames, showers, ceilings (and ceiling fixtures) all accommodated for his Ranboo’s height.

* Ranboo and Tubbo made Michael a headband with horns on it so he can “look more like Dad and Papa!”

    * Uncle Techno has been requested to make the horns out of metal so they’re more durable, but to make sure that they aren’t sharp. Last thing any of them want is Michael pricking himself on his own horns.

            * Techno wasn’t gonna make them sharp anyways. He’d take a bullet for that kid, no way in hell is that child going to harm himself on something Techno made.

            * Techno hasn’t gotten around to starting on the horns yet, though. He’s a busy pig man, let him rest.

* Ranboo has defined, soft finger pads

* Ranboo can carry Tubbo bridal style, and Tubbo is surprisingly strong for how small he is, and can also return the favor.

* Tubbo gives Tommy piggyback rides.

* Ranboo can see in the dark, and acts borderline nocturnal.

* Tubbo bounces back and forth in place as an idle animation.

* When Wilbur gets excited, he has a habit of hitting the things next to him, as a stim. It only becomes an issue when the thing next to him is rocks, trees, brick walls, or other people.

    * Yes, he has hurt himself, on multiple occasions, by hitting something he wasn’t supposed to.

    * The ungodly amount of times he’s come home and Tommy or Techno just sigh and go, “Phiiillll....Wil got excited again-“. And Phil has to bandage his hand while softly chuckling and saying, “Oh boys what ever will I do with you? What was it this time? Another wall, or was it something else?”

* Tommy is most definitely one of those people to pull a Gaston and not read a book simply because there’s not any pictures in it.

    * Techno thinks it’s a stupid reason.

* Besides crows, Phil’s favorite animal is a tortoise. (Phil likes tortoises for the same reason he likes succulents. They’re green and never die, like him.)

* Being part one doesn’t stop Techno from farming pigs.

* When listening to music, Wilbur does the finger-tappies and piano fingers.

    * Techno does the conductor finger

    * Phil taps his foot and hums along

    * Tubbo dances and bounces in place

    * Tommy drums his fingers

    * Ranboo sways softly side to side with his eyes closed

* Phil has a saying he says, very endearing to his children, and hauntingly calm to his enemies, “Never mistake my collected kindness for childish innocence.”

* Ranboo drinks a lot of apple and carrot juice because he can’t drink water.

* Ranboo has minor asthma, which really gets triggered with general allergies, and especially in the spring when Tubbo ends up shedding.

* Techno has arachnophobia.

* Technoblade, can not, for the love of anything good, manage to sit in a chair correctly. He refuses. He has not sat straight in his life. His back is shit because of it, but he doesn’t care. He’s a stubborn bastard, and he’ll slump over in a chair just for the sole purpose of to spite God.

* Phil doesn’t like to run places, he prefers his wings and flight over really any other way of travel. Though, he does like to take strolls and walks around in forests or on close beaches, and let his mind clear. The walks have become more frequent since his first day on the server.

    * He’s doing physical therapy for flying, but he can’t get as far or as high as he’d like. He knows his wings probably won’t heal properly, but he’s trying.

* Dream and Sapnap both freckle really easily, but while Dream’s freckles are faint and subtle, Sapnap freckles really dark, so his skin looks like an inverted night sky. Dark specks littered across pale skin.

* Techno owns a shit-ton of dogs, all white or pale gray as they’re all descended from the Arctic foxes and wolves that reside in the mountains.

    * They range from German Shepards and Belgian Malinois, to Labrador Retrievers, Great Pyrenees, and Huskies

    * Some of them just are straight up wolves and foxes, though.

* Techno and Phil have a specific dog they keep as a messenger and an in-between when one of them goes out to the mountains or forest for supply runs or hunting trips for days at a time. The dog is the best tracking dog they have, a white German Shepard named Hermes.

* Techno has to take scalding hot showers to regulate his body temperature.

    * Wilbur can't take anything above lukewarm.

            * When Wilbur does take showers now, he flinches when he gets in because he has flashbacks to being Ghostbur and being burned by water.

            * Same happened when he first touched snow and drank a glass of water after coming back. He flinched out of reflexive habit.

* Phil invited Ranboo over for breakfast once. Techno got the smart idea to grab a piece of bacon and stare at Ranboo, blank faced, as he ate it. It took a moment for it dawn on him as he rambled out,  "Wait-you're a pig too, though-" and Techno just smirks and leans back and goes, "Yep."

    * And Ranboo is left there questioning whether it's cannibalism or not while Techno is giggling at his expression and Phil just glares at him with a look that says, Hey, I love you, but how about we don't traumatize the child any more than he already is-?

    * Techno has gone through this exact same scenario with Tommy, Tubbo, and Niki.

    * And Phil has given him the same look everytime.

    * With Niki and Tubbo, Techno just shrugged it off. With Ranboo and Tommy, Techno shut up immediately. Just something about Phil's gaze during those 2 moments seemed more severe, and if Techno didn't knock it off, he'd be sent out into the snow and the door locked behind him.

* If you haven't see it before, I'm sure it would be strange to see a man, who just barely borders the power of a God, to see him hold something like a child, much less to do so so delicately. But Technoblade and Michael get along brilliantly.

    * When the newbie inevitably asks, "How are you okay with your child being held by something like that?" And Ranboo will nonchalantly respond with, "Oh, Techno? He's the most gentle one here. He wouldn't hurt Michael." And Tubbo will chime in with the same coolness and go, "Yeah, but if you lay a hand on him, Techno won't be so gentle with you. Ranboo and me will also probably be charged with attempted murder. But who's to say it actually happened, huh? Someone gonna take your word against someone like "The Blade"? No? Didn't think so."

* Techno has chronic migraines, because of the voices. Phil has a tea for him that settles the pain down.

* Techno's jaw pops when he yawns.

* Techno either sleeps 3 hours or 23 hours at a time and there's no in between. He's constantly tired, and Phil tries to get him to go to bed at a reasonable time, but both of them know even that's pointless.

    * Even if Techno were to go to bed at a decent time, actually getting him to sleep is an entirely different battle.

* Ranboo is shit at lying. Like, he tries his damnedest, but the concept of a decent deceit simply will not click in his brain.

    * Like, what he believes, truly believes, as a good lie, is just avoiding the question in the most un-subtle way possible.

* Phil brought home foamy shampoo once from one of his longer trips and now Techno refuses to use anything else.

    * Phil has asked, on multiple occasions, “Why do you only use that? Isn’t it too much for a simple man like yourself?” As a joke. Phil knows the answer.

    * Techno will look at him, deadpan, “Because bubbles are fun, Phil.”

* When Tubbo has to get Ranboo down to his height to kiss him or hold his face, Tubbo will pull Ranboo down by his tie.

    * When Ranboo wants to kiss Tubbo, he’ll bend over or crouch down.

* Sometimes, to show affection and they don’t feel like talking, Ranboo and Tubbo will bump and rub their horns together.

* Some deer have a velvet-like texture to their antlers. Ranboo’s horns feel like flower petals. That soft, delicate feeling of a new blossom.

    * Tubbo’s are a little more rough, but it’s like a well-worn flannel. Like, they have a scratchy texture, but somewhere underneath is obviously something fuzzy and gentle.

* Ghostbur sits on roofs, fences, and tables, swinging his legs. His hands are always pulling at his sweater, or picking at the blue wool chunks he has on him, or running his thumbs mindlessly over the smooth texture of the lapis chunks.

    * Oh by the way he keeps the wool under his beanie.

* Revivebur, on the other hand, it doesn’t matter if he’s talking or just wandering around, he’ll climb and clamber over and through everything. Vault over, crawl through, or just walk across fences, swing himself around pillars or trees, perch on or swing from branches, or stand on chairs or tables and then jump off. He likes to feel the physical rock and wood under his hands. It reminds him he’s not a floating ghost anymore, barely even existing on a physical plane.

* Techno really only listens to music that doesn’t have lyrics. So either actual techno music, or classical. It’s also why he enjoys having Wilbur over. He usually just plays his guitar and hums, no words required. Techno thinks it’s nice, and the voices really seem to like Wilburs music too, so at least that shuts them up for a while.

* Tubbo does the awkward bi finger guns. Despite not being bi.

* Sexuality and Gender headcannons:

    * Tommy- (Cis) He/They, Demiromantic

    * Techno- (Cis) He/Him, Asexual, Aromantic

    * Wilbur- (Questioning) He/Him, Bisexual

    * Tubbo- (Demiboy) He/They, Pansexual

    * Karl- (Genderfluid) They/He, Polyromantic, Polyamorous

    * Ranboo- (Agender) They/Xe/He, Questioning

    * Sapnap- (Cis) He/Him, Bisexual, Polyamorous

    * Dream- (Genderflux) He/They, Questioning

    * Bad- (Genderqueer) He/Him, Biromantic

* Now, what I think some of the characters smell like.

    * Techno- A storm. That smell in the air during a storm, the smell of rain and damp earth. There’s also a hint of ash as an undertone. A metallic scent overlays the whole thing.

    * Wilbur- Mostly ash. A sickeningly-sweet smell of almost overly-burnt marshmallows with a heavy ashy and burning fire scent as an add on.

        * Revivebur smells of gunpowder and burning paper.

        * Ghostbur smells like a bag of sugar. Sweet, soft, fresh marshmallows.

    * Tubbo- Honey and vanilla. Burnt, caramelized sugars, along with the crackling wood and flame that burned them.

    * Phil- A snowy, evergreen forest. That warm, woody smell of the pine cones and damp tree bark mixed with the cold, clean, crisp smell of fresh snow.

        * And herbal tea.

    * Karl- Straight up like a candy store. Like, yes, you can obviously pick out the sugars, and chocolate, and hints of fruit flavors, but there’s also that faint, barely noticeable, undertone of plastic and cardboard. Something telling you that 99% of what you’re smelling is artificial.

        * His sweatshirt alone though smells like a caramel apple. Sweet, sugary, warm, with that tart hint of a cool, fresh green apple underneath.

    * Ranboo- Like flowers and fire. That naturally, not overpowering, sweet smell of fresh picked poppies and lavender and roses, but with a warm, smokey undertone. A field of wildflowers burning in the middle of spring.
