    December, 1970: A year and a half after Vietnam War veterans Buck and Steve locked eyes at the Hell’s Kitchen gay bar where Buck is working his way through college, they’re looking forward to enjoying their first Christmas at home since moving in together. That is, until Steve learns his ex is in town and Buck’s mother and sister show up in New York to surprise him.

    There’s so much that can go wrong. (Some of it does.) But some things—the important things—go very, very right.
