    When Merlin and Arthur are injured in the caves of Ishmere, Mordred only saves Arthur. He leaves Merlin, thinking the knights will go back for him but no one does. No one except the slave runner Ragnor. He finds an injured Merlin and discovers his magic. Looking to make a hefty profit, he takes him away to sell but leaves "proof" of the boy's demise so ensure no one comes looking for him. Now Merlin is trapped, his magic is restrained, and no one thinks he is alive to rescue. What was going to happen to him and how will he take his friends deserting him in the first place?
