[the camera cuts to Nadja and the Guide clasping hands on the couch, Nadja with a pleasant human smile on her face whilst the Guide sits stiffly.
"When the fuck did she get here?" Laszlo asks, and Nadja shushes him harshly as the headmaster and Sean start to awaken.
"- and this is my darling wife, Paula," Nadja begins, like she had been speaking the whole time.
The Guide peers around the room and then leans over and whispers to Nadja, "Where is she?"
"Who?" Nadja whispers back.
"Paula?" The Guide clarifies.
"It's you. That's the whole point!" Nadja exclaims.
The Guide scrunches up her nose. "My name's not Paula."
Nadja sighs heavily and snaps her fingers once again as she rises to her feet. "Forget it. It was never going to work anyway."]
