Work Text:
It’s been a few months since Crowley figured out that Aziraphale has been blessing his dreams ever since they moved in together. He tried to be annoyed about it at first, but that was hard to maintain about something that makes his rest more restful than it’s ever been. Inevitably, grateful adoration overcame annoyance.
Now, though, is one of the rare moments when Aziraphale has opted to join him for a nap. Which means it is Crowley’s long-awaited chance for retaliation.
Angels are not the only ones who can give blessings, after all. That’s the whole reason the Arrangement works.
Dream of whatever you like best, Crowley breathes, in the language of miracles, to the being in whose arms he lies… and feels rather than hears the blessing whispered back at him.
And, side by side in their pajamas, a demon and an angel drift into dreams of one another.
