Summary
When a mass reset of the game occurs, and the system is restarted by Metaverse Enterprise, the true Project Libitina must begin. However, following the events of the first game, the player characters gains consciousness, and is forced to play the new game as experiments on the limits that the human psyche can be pushed are imposed on the newly conscious being.
An unprecedented phenomenon such as this is not missed by the researchers at MES, and the trials to determine how conscious is created, and the potential applications of sentient AI, are tested...on a being that will come to understand true suffering.
