In a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a virus killing off most of the women in the world, Theodora, a trauma surgeon, fights day and night to keep her husband with diabetes, John, and mother with dementia, Merilda, alive. But her plans are stopped when she runs into three men who seem to be celebrating success in this world, Sam, Bucky and their leader, Zemo. After striking a deal with high consequences, Theodora agrees to offer herself to the men for protection and medicine for her family. But her life is taking more of a turn when not just her morals are tested. This story follows Theo grappling with her trauma, her loyalty to her family's safety and the new relationships that she builds with the three men.
