"GET AWAY SO MY EYES DON'T SEE YOU!"–Raf shouted loudly at Mikey so that a loud echo of his words was heard in the sewers.
—I didn't want this! I'm sorry, it won't happen again!–Mikey defended himself, waving his hands with fear. He accidentally pressed a button again, triggering an alarm, which again almost failed their mission.
"YOU REPEAT THAT ALL THE TIME! AND NOTHING NEVER CHANGES!”–growled Raph as if he was not himself, approaching him with sharp steps. "You! - he rudely poked him in the forehead - You are just a stupid and worthless mutant who only knows how to spoil everything in the world! How did you even become a ninja?! Everything would have worked out for us if it weren't for YOU! You are absolutely useless!!"
"Raph, I think it's already too much..."–Leo interrupted him.
"No! This is exactly what he deserves! At least he will learn something! Get out of here and don't come to the lair, otherwise you will regret it very much!"–he shouted even louder, looking at him with eyes full of hatred.
Mikey couldn't believe what he was hearing, Raph had spoken rudely to him before, but this...
He opened his mouth to say something, but without coming up with anything, he closed it abruptly and with bitter tears in his eyes, turned and quickly ran somewhere far away through the sewers, wiping away his tears and holding back his sobs.
"Mikey wait!" Donnie wanted to run after him but Raph rough grip on his arm stopped him. "You don't need to, Donny! - his green eyes shone with maddened fury when he spoke to him with his teeth bared–He messed up and let him think about it! Let's go already!" he said angrily, stomping roughly back to the house.
Leo and Donnie exchanged sad looks, but neither said anything to avoid making the situation worse. They just followed him in silence.
Mikey ran without looking back, covering his eyes with his hands, he could not see where he was running and was no longer sure if he knew where he was.
Running into a dark room, he stopped to catch his breath and calm his emotions by kneeling down. He breathed intermittently through his tears and sobbed softly again, clutching his head. It was hard for him to believe the words Raph said to him, he himself often thought so about himself, but hearing this from his brother made him just break down and doubt himself even more.
He hugged himself tightly, trying to catch his breath.
—everything is fine...everything will be fine...just calm down...–he whispered quietly to himself, trembling even more. He tried to hold back tears, but it didn't go well.
A sharp loud sound caught his attention and he screamed and stood up sharply, taking a fighting position.
It sounded like something metallic and heavy had fallen. Taking one of his nunchucks in his hands, he began to spin it, trying to see the threat in the darkness. "Hey, whoever you are, I'm not afraid of you!" He slowly, still trembling, walked forward, carefully stepping step by step. His voice trembled and his breathing was loud and ragged because he had not yet completely calmed down his emotions.
And suddenly he stepped on something and began to fall with a slight surprised cry, dropping his weapon. He expected to land quickly, but he continued to fall much longer than expected until he landed very hard on some surface. The blow to the head was so strong that he immediately lost consciousness without understanding what had happened.
"Hey Leo, how soon do you think he'll come?"–Donny asked excitedly.
"Huh? I don't think anything serious can happen to him. Surely he will come soon, as always...”–on the last sentence, his voice became a little sadder than usual, which could not but excite Don.
"Are you okay?"–He asked, putting his hand on the man's shoulder and looking at him sympathetically.
“Yeah..yeah I'm fine. Just..were we not too rude with him? Anyway, I'm still worried that he's all alone there,"–the leader said with a sense of guilt.
"I'm sure everything will be fine with him, but you'll see he should come soon and he'll be mocking Raf again with his jokes. In the end, it's JUST Mikey." Don said consolingly, walking back to his laboratory.
"Probably...I hope so" Leo said with a sigh, after which he went to watch his favorite cartoon again.
Mikey slowly opened his eyes, still dizzy and slightly nauseous.
He staggered to his feet and sat on his knees, holding his head with one hand.
"Ah..what happened...? Where I am... I...sleeping?”–he whimpered weakly and shook his head trying to concentrate. He looked at his surroundings and his eyes widened in surprise and his body went numb.
It was some completely unfamiliar place for him that really charmed him with its atypicality, all around were yellow walls and corridors, no windows, no objects, nothing.
He looked up at the ceiling to understand from where he fell here, because maybe it was just some hatch in the sewer that led to this place. But no, there was nothing, no hole or door or anything, just a plain white ceiling.
Recovering from the shock, he stood up sharply, swaying a little and looking around. He could feel panic creeping up on him, but he tried to resist it, because it was the last thing he needed right now.
Having taken a couple of steps forward, he unceremoniously shouted –"Hey! is there anyone here? What kind of place is this anyway? Heeyyyy!!”–there was no response, just a creepy echo. A little fear froze in him, because of which he folded his hands together, hugging them to him.
All around was a piercing silence that gave him a flashback from being in Dimension X. The thought sent a chill through his shell.
“No..I can't be stuck here like it was there...Oh come on! I need to figure out what kind of place this is, how I got here and how to get out of here.!”
–But first...–he smiled playfully –I wouldn't mind going for a walk here!"–he shouted happily.
He began to roam the corridors examining everything around, at first it was interesting and even exciting. But eventually he got tired of it because everything was completely identical.
"It's soooo boooriiing here,"–he whimpered tiredly. "There is absolutely nothing here...–he sighed heavily - but it's better to go back. But..how did I even end up here? I don't remember something..."
He stopped and put his fingers to his temples to think better.
"Well...because of me, we almost failed the mission..uh..Raph shouted at me and I ran down the sewers..-he sadly remembered this, but continued -further I was in some room..I tripped over something..and...got here??”– he said in surprise, exhaling sharply. "Hah..it's just impossible, maybe when I fell I hit my head so hard that now I have such...CLEAR hallucinations? I hope..." he said with fear and uncertainty.
Mikey continued to just walk the halls thinking about this whole situation, but the whole monotony of this place was just driving him crazy and he wanted anything to distract himself from it.
"Hah..if I tell them where I've been, they definitely won't believe me...again,"–he said hunched over skeptically.
"Exactly!"–he exclaimed in a joyful voice and straightened up sharply. to prove to my brothers that I was really here! And they didn't think I was crazy..! as usual..."-trying not to think about the sad thing, he pulled out his T-Phone from his belt pocket, pointed the camera in front of him and started shooting a video pretending to be a popular blogger.
—Congratulations to everyone! - he shouted joyfully - I'm with you today, Mikey! And I would like to show you what a strange place I am today! This is basically a video for my brothers so that now they will believe me for sure that I am not lying and not making things up.” – he turned the camera to show the whole environment – As you can see here it is quite empty and a lot of eee...yellow... well that's interesting. I have not found anyone alive yet, and there are absolutely no objects here, there is nothing here at all!” he shouted sharply.
— I don't know how I got here, I tripped over something and then woke up here..it's really strange.–he thought for a moment then continued–Haah ok I'll tell you more about my "survival" in my next video stay tuned my dear subscribers! After these words, he turned off the video recording and looked sadly at the screen.
Turning off the camera, he sighed heavily. He had no choice but to just keep going in hopes of finding something, so he just kept going.
«He has been gone for a long time, he should have returned a long time ago"– said Donny nervously – "Are you sure that everything is fine with him? Maybe he got into some kind of trouble?"
"You're right, he's really been gone for a long time...I think we should at least call him."– Leo said, looking at him.
"I already" said Doni, holding the phone to his ear. However, apart from the phrase "Subscriber out of range", he did not receive anything else.
"This is not good," he said excitedly.
Frowning, Leo said decisively–“I think we need to go look for him before it's too late. Let's go," said the leader, taking his katanas and heading for the exit. Donnie followed him, but Raph didn't seem to hear.
"Raph? are you coming?" he asked the aggressive turtle who was just sitting on the couch staring into the void.
"I..?.yes, I'm going, I'm just..." he paused, searching for the right words, "what if something really happened to him and it's my fault?" I shouldn't kick him out and yell at him like that, I..."
"Hey" – Leo gave him a brotherly smile, beating him – we'll find him, don't worry about it. I'm sure he couldn't go far," he said in a gentle tone to calm his brother.
"I hope so..." –he said sadly, taking his sai and heading after them.
They came out of the den, having reached the place where they passed each other.
"Donny, can you determine his location?"– asked Leo
"I'm just working on it...oooh..."–he gasped in surprise. It was a bad sign.
"What's wrong?"–Raf asked anxiously.
"I can't determine where he is, his phone is working but...it's like he's just...not there. The signal is not displayed anywhere," he said alarmedly.
This of course surprised them, but Mikey often broke his phone so they didn't dwell on it.
«Well... the old fashioned way then. Let's split up and clean the sewers, now a day ago I don't think he came to the surface.» Leo said in a leadership voice, to which everyone agreed and everyone ran in their own direction.
Splitting up, they started running from the place where Mikey escaped, searching and calling for him in the tunnels.
3 hours passed and no one found Mikey and it scared them quite a bit. They called each other more than once, but nothing new.
Raph walked down another tunnel with his hands clenched into fists and an angry look ahead. He was angry at himself for the whole situation, he blamed himself for yelling at Mikey for running away.
The guilt only increased when he remembered his younger brother's tears. He never meant to seriously upset him, even though his actions suggested otherwise.
—This shouldn't have happened..why am I such a..stupid shit!–he growled at himself pushing garbage and stones in front of him.
—Why can't I just control my words and actions! Why do I always upset everyone!–with the last word, he kicked a stone in front of him so hard that it flew into some passage into some room.
He looked in surprise at the place where the stone flew, and decided to look there because he had never seen anything like that here.
He looked in there but couldn't see anything except some faint light in the corner.
“Damn, why is it so dark here..?”–he muttered to himself unhappily and took out his T-Phone to turn on the flashlight on it.
A bright beam of light illuminated the room a little and Raph began to guide it along the walls to see her more freely.
Nothing special, there were a lot of old metal pipes and various garbage around, similar to some small abandoned warehouse. He was about to move on, but finally decided to look at the floor, on which lay another pipe and...Mikey's nunchucks.
He stopped when he saw them, he felt a mixture of joy and fear at the same time.
A slight hope flashed in his eyes and he resolutely stepped inside the room, now looking more carefully at the whole situation.
—Mikey! If you are here, get out immediately! We are worried about you. And...I'm sorry for those words..I...I shouldn't have told you that...get out, you idiot!''–he listened carefully to every sound, but he didn't hear any answer.
He sighed heavily and shook his head–«the hell with you..»
He called Leo and waited for him to answer.
"Raph? Did you find something? Because we are still nothing,"–was heard from the other end.
—Yes. I found something.
