Summary

Summary
Phasmophobia is the fear of ghosts.
Mike Wheeler only wishes he could be afraid of this ghost. Unfortunately, he's less like a poltergeist and more of an inconvenience. Though, he can't help but become fond of the specter.
Trevor Spengler expected dying to be boring, turns out its a lot like being a camp counselor. Which is fun! If your idea of fun was mentoring a mini-you from 40 years ago that has the survival skills of a slug and even worse romance skills.
One thing is sure, it's going to be a bumpy ride
(Rewrite from the start of season 4 to the end of season 5, including time skip, no prior knowledge of ghostbusters needed. At least for now.)

Summary
18 months have passed since Vecna completed the first step of the end of the world; four rifts merging into one to create a massive portal to the "Upside Down", meeting right in the heart of Hawkins, Indiana. The military has moved in to control the chaos, locking everyone who was not able to escape Hawkins, keeping a tight leash and watchful eyes over its citizens. Things have been suspiciously quiet from the Upside Down, leaving the Party on edge for what's next. Well, what's left of the party. Max is still in a coma, Lucas Sinclair by her side indefinitely, Dustin turning grief from Eddie's death into increasingly irrational action, and Eleven more focused on training than ever and emotionally distant from everyone. The Byers' have been living at the Wheeler residence, brewing multiple inter-personal conflicts that leave everyone uncertain of each other. Will is just happy to be beside his best friend, Mike, even if he doesn't seem completely there anymore.
With everyone distracted by their own emotional turmoil, no one notices Mike slowly disappearing from everything, leaving a perfect hidden target for Vecna to make his return. When this happens, only one thing lingers on everyone's minds; why Mike?

Summary
Mike Wheeler is having a horrible life. Four years after Vecna, all his friends have moved out and he doesn't really believe in his theory that El is alive anymore. He misses Will so much it hurts. All his parents seem to talk about is how horrible his life has turned out, and all the people he once knew only look at him with pity. When he gets and invite to christmas with Will, who's visiting, Mike jumps at the chance. The thing is, he did not think Carlton, Will's boyfriend of two years, would be there. And the dinner goes way worse than planned.
Mike Wheeler wakes up in a daze on a hospital bed. Everyone looks really different, just like how they used to do four years ago. Will's acting like that dinner never happened, and– wait a second is that El?!

Basically a conformity gate fic where vecna puts Mike through absolute hell, and Mike's completley confused and sad when he comes back. this is a post-canon fix it fic, and personally I beleive that if conformity gate was real, Mike would have gone fully under the effect of Vecna's curse probably around the van ride back from the upside down, so everything from there is just in Mike's mind. Summary
He recoils in shock and terror when he sees its limbs – twisted and wrong. Its skin is torn open in places and hanging down, he can see the whiteness of bone beneath the torn flesh. A thick spurt of blood wells to the surface and splatters onto the floor between him and the sink.
The creature snarls and Mike screams.
It drops to the ground, twisting in mid-air to land on all fours. Its head is twisted in the wrong angle, its spine is sticking out from its back. More blood falls as the flesh is jostled. A thick, rotting smell fills the air.
Mike keeps screaming.
The handle jangles again, harsher this time. Will’s voice filters through, he sounds panicked. Mike can’t make out the words over the sounds of his own screams.
The creature titters, skittering forward, and Mike stumbles back. He hits the door with a loud thud. He’s still screaming.

Mike rolls his eyes. “What’s your suggestion?”
“I’m getting there,” Jonathan assures. “I’ve lived in New York alone for the past two years, and haven’t done half of the things I told myself I would. I kept thinking about mom, Will, and Nance—even Hop sometimes. It’s like I’m being held back by the ties I’ve already made.”
Mike nods. “You’re back where you were before, even though you’re on your own.”
“Exactly, and I just know that if I do venture out, I’ll instinctively look for someone—in anything—because I can’t find it in myself.”
“You want to do it together,” Mike confirms for him. Despite knowing, the words come out shocked, leaden. Like Mike knows without answering that he’s not fit for it, but he’ll agree anyway. “Need me to drag you back down to Earth?”
“About as much as you need it,” Jonathan fires back.Directionless in New York, Mike and Jonathan make a pact to find themselves outside of their past partners (One of them runs right back home, and another finds it in someone else)
