Work Text:
The garden was lush and green, full of life, but it was bare.
Nevertheless, it was their secluded spot, in the Egg World.
"It's always been like this," Acca muttered as he watched from the table. "The limited thinking that comes from untapped potential."
Ura-Acca lifted his head, confused. "I don't understand. What do you mean by that?"
"What's to understand? We're both here because we proved what we can do, pushing past limits, and now look where we are."
Ura-Acca shook his head. "That may be, but is limited thinking can be of use, can it?"
Acca looked right at him. "It can be, as it is both a blessing and a curse. We both know that all too well."
Ura-Acca stilled for a moment, and then he nodded. "Well, when you're right, you're right."
"Of course, if not that that, I would have gone mental." Acca said.
"Mental entirely?"
"Entirely."
"You would say that, wouldn't you?" Ura-Acca said aloud.
Acca had to laugh, and Ura-Acca soon joined him.
