Summary
Caroline Forbes is at a college party when she meets Stefan Salvatore, who she soon learns is a vampire. To Stefan’s surprise Caroline is aware that vampires exist. In the little time they get to spend together, a budding friendship forms between the two as they confide in each other until they are separated by forces beyond their control.
Their paths cross again during a turbulent time for all creatures as they find themselves in the middle of a war brought on by the grief of the original hybrid, Niklaus Mikaelson. Follow them as they combat the onslaught and the fallout, both strengthened and frightened by their evolving feelings for each other.
Note: Don't really need to have seen The Originals to follow along.
