The winter was when everything was still, when the world would come to a lulling halt.
It was cold and bitter, but Sakura was used to it by now.
Sakura looked outward and sat down on the steps as the flurries fell upon the ground. The ground was blanketed in white, and she wrapped the blanket around herself.
"Hey, Sakura?"
She turned to see Rider standing next to her in the doorway. "Oh, Rider,"
Rider then took a seat next to Sakura, lifting the blanket over her shoulders as well as Sakura's. "I hope I'm not intruding."
Sakura shook her head. "Oh no, it's quite alright."
Rider smiled softly. "I'm glad to hear that."
Sakura pulled her half of the blanket closer to herself, grateful for the warmth.
Rider then wrapped an arm around Sakura, pulling her close. "Is this alright for you?"
Sakura blinked and then nodded, smiling. "Oh this is much better, I always love your hugs."
Rider let out a soft laugh. "Oh, you're bound to ruin me for other people soon."
Sakura couldn't help but laugh as well. "Oh, it's the truth, you always impress me." She replied, placing her head on Rider's shoulder.
Rider chuckled, holding Sakura close, never wanting to let go.
They were warm and cozy under the blanket, watching the snowfall blanket the world.
