The title was inspired by a lesson about Mickiewicz’s “Pan Tadeusz”/“Mr. Ted”(my translation of the title).
Basically Arcadia is a place where there are rules/norms that bound everyone and while breaking them has no direct consequences, everyone obeys them anyway. Like for example: Lunch/dinner doesn’t start until everyone’s present. The kind of norms I’m talking about.
Since this is about playing an act, I thought Arcadia fits pretty decently, also considering everyone’s supposed to be content here and as you will learn soon, not even the reader(as a character) is.You’re Dottore’s sweet wife, who took him out of Teyvat, gave him a mortal body, locked him in a world that exists simply to “deepen” your marriage and make your relationship more interesting and he hates every minute of it. He can’t even complain without getting punished. Is being given the worst torture for a span of few days or hours the worst fate in the world? Maybe not. Is he willing to play along with the most corny and stupid fantasies if he can avoid it? Yes. Yes he is, and you’d be too.
