Notes:

This is the standard military uniform my alien characters like Vix Zanthomar wear. The uniform design has kind of altered in my mind over time, but this was the general design I had in mind when I drew this piece back in 2018. I had planned on adding a little more intricate design to the chest area, but I wound up colouring over it, so it wound up a bit more simple and plain. The design may change as I start working more on the story (which has wound up being set aside for other story ideas I've been working on).

Since I am more of a writer than an illustrator, I usually relied on character maker games and programs for visual references of my characters. However, I could not find any with an outfit reference that resembled the military uniform I had in mind, so I decided to draw it myself. That is a white glove in the bottom corner, in case you were wondering. They are required as part of the uniform. I was originally going to draw hands from the side view on the body, but I suck at hands and decided it would be easier to put the glove reference elsewhere. On the side of the arm is where the rank and insignia are displayed. I put a marker there so it would be easier to see.

I do apologize if the lighting quality is a bit iffy. Back when I first drew and posted this, I had attempted to scan the image, but the scanner only scanned to PDFs and I wasn't sure how to convert it to an image file, so instead I took a photo of the drawing. I did try to give it the best light I could.
