Summary
When I was eighteen and travelling abroad in Germany, I went into anaphylactic shock and almost died. Later that evening, after being discharged from hospital, I went on a small journey in the city to find a source of nicotine to calm myself. A few years later, I find this to be one of the most profound and memorable moments of my life, and I wanted to pay tribute to it with a little written piece describing all my thoughts that night. Though it's loosely structured like a poem, I followed zero writing rules, so I don't believe it actually constitutes as one. I don't really know what this is. Either way, I enjoyed creating it quite a lot! 😁
