    Yuuji is the golden boy of the local church, poster child of the youth group and darling of every elder lady.
    However, his world is tilted on its axis when that hunger he never dared to name is satiated not by God’s bread of life, but by the flesh of the Devil himself.
    How deep can he plummet into Hell before he forsakes Heaven once and for all?

    The crimson blood of the rose window bathes the presbytery, with the column of the lectern and the gray block of the altar, and a crucifix hanging from chains from the rooftop in the vanishing point of the view, as if dripping from the gory wounds of Christ’s body and from his contracted eyes. It’s a picture of suffering itself, it’s a now shapeless and distorted mass of fading paint and rotting wood.

     

    And it’s upside down.

    Shivers run down Yuuji’s spine, terror flowing into his agape mouth.
