Summary
Jordan has everything lined up: top of her class in business school, a tight-knit (if messy) family, loyal friends, and a boyfriend who seems stable enough. Her future is clear, predictable, and within reach.
Then one night, on the way home from a graduation party, a routine checkpoint turns into a nightmare. Police search her car and uncover a large stash of heroin, enough to charge her with trafficking. Despite her insistence that it isn’t hers, Jordan is convicted and sentenced to eight years in prison.
