Summary
Kira is dead; only Light Yagami remains.
Spared from execution and delivered into L’s custody, Light finds himself exiled to wherever that bastard detective goes, first on the list being Wammy’s House, where every day is a reminder of his defeat. Yet, surrender has never come naturally to a man who once solemnly believed himself a god. As pride transforms into craving and resentment twists into dependency, Light discovers that being watched is not nearly as dangerous as wanting to be seen, whether the handcuffs are on or not.
Meanwhile, L’s victory begins to rot from the inside. Catching and eliminating Kira should have been enough… keeping him was seldom part of the plan.
