Summary
He can only see as far as his light reaches– which is far, but not enough to reassure him that the dark pit above him actually ends with a sky, not a pile of rocks, nor a cosmic abyss.
His foot catches on something, and he stumbles falling ass first onto the icy surface. Rocky stops in his track and lets Grace hold onto the xenonite cube as he gets up. He points his lamp at what made him fall, and lets out a gasp.
The ground was mostly rock where they landed, but right now they are standing on about six meters of ice, and there is something protruding from it.
"What Grace sees, question?"
"It's a bone."
