   Summary

   An Alvin and the Chipmunks AU that I'd decided to start writing impulsively one night at 11 p.m. out of sheer frustration because there isn't enough under this tag (other than self-indulgent smut or crack fics). Spiralled from there.

   As a disclaimer(?), the main pairing in this is Simon/Alvin. Slow burn, though, so initially it's Alvin/Brittany and Simon/Jeanette. In general, I try my best to explore all the various character dynamics (including ones that rarely interact in canon but have so much potential!!).

   It feels a little silly to admit but this has made my first co op term significantly more tolerable. I indeed spent more time on this than my actual summer job.

   I've got a bunch of draft chapters that I'm just going to be editing through and then posting; please bear with me.

   I welcome any and all criticism. Please feel free to go off on me about absolutely anything.

   By the way, I sometimes end questions in dialogue with a period rather than a question mark when I feel it conveys the tone I'm going for better. I am genuinely sorry if it bothers you.
