Summary
After moving to the night shift and avoiding her lingering doubts about PTMC, Samira’s racial disparity study is finally published. The hospital, itching for good publicity, registers her to present at a medical conference against her knowledge. Jack offers to go with her as a mandated plus one to the event in Philadelphia. When their trip is derailed by an unseasonal storm, the two find themselves trapped in a Pennsylvania hotel – and wonder if the universe is trying to tell them something.
