Summary
Mystra is an agent of ROM, the secret service of the Comstar Order, the shadowy organization behind interstellar communications and the HPG network, and a Mechwarrior, the legendary soldiers that pilot the ultimate weapon of war: Battlemechs. Towering machines of war and annihilation, striding across the battlefield to deliver death and destruction.
Unfortunately, an unexpected skirmish goes catastrophically wrong for Mystra. Narrowly surviving a devastating strike thanks to the help of a fellow ROM agent, Vayly, she finds herself rebuilt into a cyborg commando of the Manei Astra, ROM's elite experimental warriors.
So why, by the Forlorn Void, does Mystra finish training to find out both she and Vayly have been assigned to the Starlight Delights? A Canopian Pleasure Circus, a floating palace among the stars dedicated to hedonism, sex, and indulging whatever dreams and desire their clients may have on the worlds it visits.
And why is she so excited by this, whether she wants to admit it or not? Why does it feel like she has finally found a place where she belongs, away from the suffocating halls of Comstar? And when the time comes...will she upholds her oaths to the Order, or protect her newfound home?
