Summary
A group of mismatched characters is down on their luck, each having lost everything that gives them purpose in life. They're broke and on their last legs when they all come across the same ad, the galaxy's biggest and most well known company, Ishiyama Dynamics, is hiring! The pay is so good that they ignore the fact that it appears that no one else has filed to fill the position. Their goal is to find the research of a Dr Giovanni and return it to Ishiyama Dynamics, as well as perform various maintenance tasks around the space station, Ypsilon-14. The task seemed simple enough, but with the mysteries that layered the mission, there had to be something more.

“Hello?” Elly says, heedless to neither of their turmoil. Her voice is staticky.
Hearing Elly’s voice feels like a lovely, agonizing hot brand renewing its burn on her psyche, exactly like Ursula had expected it to. What she didn’t expect was how different Elly’s voice sounds; it's an infinitesimal change in pitch, a slightly lower tone, but it's enough for her to notice. It’s not how she remembers it. It’s nearly unbearable.
