The first time she came here was with Leon. He brought her here once, it was around sunset time, more of a date than anything really, with a warm dinner made by him and a few glasses of wine. They ate it in the trunk of Ada’s car, having the door of it open as they sat in the trunk itself, the food in between them, and watching the sunset over the frozen lake. And it was romantic, alright. Then Leon suggested the ice skating thing, he even got the skating shoes for the both of them with him, as if he had planned it all earlier that day.
He taught her how to balance and move around smoothly, and it got easier as the time went by. They spent hours there, until it got dark enough that they had to turn on the flash lights of Ada’s car to light up the frozen lake, laughing their worries away as both got slightly tipsy from their drinks, and they were just having fun. Ada appreciated it, she knew he mostly did it because she wasn't feeling good lately, and the place did really change a few things in her life now.
