Vi doesn’t remember how she died, why she’s haunting Caitlyn’s new place, or why she’s even still here. Caitlyn, being the responsible adult she is, decides to investigate. Strictly for closure. Strictly professional. Strictly not because Vi has a nice smirk and an annoying habit of making Caitlyn’s heart do weird things.
But as the mystery unravels, so does Caitlyn’s sense of reason—because she might just be falling for a ghost. And that’s definitely not covered in her detective handbook.

Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman always got what she wanted and this time she set her eyes on the transfer student, and new rugby star at Piltover High, Vi Lanes. With the mission to make Vi hers, Caitlyn must also realise that someone else, Vi's sister Jinx is just as possessive about Vi as she can be.
“Is this seat taken?” Caitlyn asked, as sweetly as she could. She drew her question with an innocent remark, gesturing vaguely to the seat next to Vi whose feet were up on it. Vi Lanes looked Caitlyn up and down, her look assessing and evaluating before she looked straight ahead again past Caitlyn’s form, slouched down in her seat, her back against the window sill and closed her eyes.
“Yes.” Vi answered simply.
Caitlyn scoffed, not expecting that type of response from Vi. Nevertheless, Caitlyn wasn’t one to back down from a simple no. She tried again, clearing her throat.
Vi sighed, and opened her eyes, “What?”
“Are you sure this seat is taken?” Caitlyn asked again, folding her arms across her chest, knowing they were her best assets. The action moved her chest upwards, and Caitlyn had to hide a smirk when she saw Vi’s eyes draw to Caitlyn’s chest before they flickered back to Caitlyn’s eyes.

Caitlyn squared her shoulders back and walked through the curtain into the hallway, making her way towards the second set of curtains, once again still drawn closed. She reached out her free hand and pushed open the curtains to take in the studio space once again, albeit to a much different scene than when she first saw it. The volume of the music increased as she breached the curtains, the velvet having certainly dampened the music. The current song was pop-y with a sensual melody, downbeats alternating with piercing finger-snaps.

A tear escaped from the corner of her eyes, being wiped away with a kiss. Her body was at the peak of physical deprivation, and her mind was fighting against the words being said to her. Fighting against a truth her heart had known for a long time.
