“Please. Please, stay awake” This was bloody terrifying. Merlin was saying please. How bad was it? Then again he did just get shot. Huh. That was probably important, blood loss and all that.
“Merlin?” he near whispered

His voice rung low and gravely “stay with me” he said. Arthur felt the fingers intertwined with his own tighten.
“Always.”or,
What happens when Arthur almost dies and has yet to truly act on his feelings for Merlin (he does not die. Merlin is bloody weak for this man.)
