Summary
Inspired by a conversation that happened on tumblr that I couldn't get out of my head
Shane gets brattier as he gets fatter. Ilya loves to play.

“Oh my poor fat husband can’t get himself up off the couch, walk three steps and then bend over to plug in his own laptop?” Ilya teases, pretending to be shocked, but the skin around his eyes is crinkled and there is a mirthful glint in his look.
“I can too do it!” Shane protests indignantly, “...I just don’t want to,” he finishes, impishly wagging his eyebrows and holding Ilya’s gaze.
He folds his arms stubbornly over the top of his belly. The gesture only emphasizes his squishy biceps, and the lack of space between his beefy upper arms and the thick rolls of fat wrapping around his chest.
“Shane,” Ilya says in his most commanding voice, “Stand up.”
“No!”
“Shayna. Stand. Up.” Ilya hits every syllable, upping the tone of warning in his voice.
“I don’t want to” Shane protests petulantly. Nakedly defiant now. The game is truly on.

"“I think I got a bit fat, Hollander.” Ilya grinned, waggling his eyebrows playfully.
Shane was winded now.
“Not fat, Ilya. Just, um, some retirement weight. You’ll work it off. If you want.” He swallowed. Ilya’s smile grew.
“I don’t think you want.” He was starting to giggle now. Genuinely giggle. “No, Hollander, I think you like that I am a bit bigger now.”
He turned toward Shane and began to close the distance between them.
“Do you like it, Shane?” There was an air of caution in his voice, letting Shane know he could tell him the truth. If this was too weird, Shane could tell him and he would stop.
“Yes.”"

Ilya pauses, and runs the words through his head, not sure if hes confused because of the alcohol or because the English language is just so fucking stupid. “What the fuck is that? Baby trapping? You get a baby stuck somewhere?”
Hayes laughs, loud and bright as Barrett goes to answer, completely cuddled up against Harris, “Nah dude it's like, you're forced into coparenting the kid, the kid is what keeps you guys together, even if you don't like each other. You do it for the kid.”
Ilya gives a confused hum, switching from person to person to see if someone can explain.
“Hayes continues, “Like when omegas poke holes in the condoms! And just sabotage you guys’ to have a baby.”
Ilya ohhhs in understanding, and outright laughs with everyone, “Thats fucking insane!”

Shane Hollander isn’t great at asking for what he wants, lucky for him, Ilya is great at giving him whatever he wants.

Ilya finds out Shane wants to baby-trap him and he is very much on board with the idea.

Summary
Domesticating Shane over the course of six months wasn't actually Ilya's plan, believe it or not. His plan was actually to fuck his husband in as many countries and cities as possible in as many positions as he could think of. The fact that Shane seemed determined to eat his way around the world was merely the cherry on top of what was already a fantastic situation for Ilya.

Summary
“I decide,” Ilya repeats. “You do not have to worry about it. You do not have to think about what is enough and what is too much. You just have to eat what I tell you.”
“That’s crazy,” Shane says automatically. But his pupils are blown wide, his lips slightly parted.
Ilya gets abruptly to his feet. He takes Shane’s plate, heaps a large slice of lasagne on it, and moves around the table until he’s standing right next to Shane. He puts the plate down. Shane looks from him to the food and back again; Ilya almost imagines he can see the flutter of Shane’s pulse at his throat.
“Eat,” Ilya says.
Post-retirement, Shane finally lets Ilya take care of him. So what if he gets a little fat as a result? His husband certainly doesn’t seem to mind.

Shane's gained weight after retirement. He likes it.
At the pressure of Ilya’s hand, Shane dutifully steps, albeit a touch unsteady, over the threshold and proceeds to undo his belt when the front door closes behind him, fumbling for the buckle with clumsy hands. When it’s undone, Shane breathes in deeper—though still rather shallow—than he has since starting on his dessert. Ilya laughs heartily and gives Shane’s stomach a few pats.
“Ate too much,” he says, “didn’t you?”
“You shouldn’t have—” Shane begins, right before he’s interrupted by a hiccup. “Shouldn’t have let me eat half of your portion.”
“But you wanted it so badly,” Ilya teases. “You looked like you would have divorced me if I did not give you my pasta. And my bread. And my ice cream…”
