Summary
When Simon Snow receives a text from his ex asking him to spend Christmas with him, and pretend they're still together, he's confused. Should he go? What's going to happen if he does?
Most importantly; is he ready to see Baz again?--------------------
"There's an ache in you put there by the ache in me
But if it's all the same to you
It's the same to me
So we could call it even
You could call me babe for the weekend
'Tis the damn season, write this down
I'm stayin' at my parents' house
And the road not taken looks real good now
And it always leads to you in my hometown"
- 'tis the damn season, Taylor Swift -

Summary
Adulthood is supposed to be Simon Snow’s happily ever after. Instead, he’s adjusting to mundanity as well as a former Chosen One could - awfully. (Honestly what the fuck is he doing with his life?) At twenty-three he thinks he’s done with the adventures. The problem is that trouble tends to look for Simon.
This time he’s taken back to Watford School of Magicks. To open the Third Gate, slay the Sixth White Hare, and maybe find the fairies in the process. Meanwhile, the NowNext are setting up shop in London, his ex-girlfriend is unofficially a vampire slayer, his best friend’s in love with a Normal, said Normal is still cursed and running out of time, the dead spots are closing (maybe Simon isn’t as Normal as he thought), and on top of all of it - Baz is back in the country after being abroad for several years, looking good enough to eat.
And Simon is still hopelessly in love with him.

Summary
His lips clamp down, searching around again, this time more urgently. His eyes catch his wrist band, struggling to read it at first. He catches the date of birth, and it’s correct, but the day of admission is absolutely, insanely off.

He blinks, then blinks harder, feeling his chest pound and world spin. What…
He hears a monitor beep, and the other man’s eyes fly open. Simon stalls, mouth falling open but body feeling like jelly, and even more so as the other man speaks.

After an accident, Simon ends up in the hospital with neurological injuries. When he wakes up, the world isn't exactly how he left it before...

Summary
A rivalry won’t prove anything, but it seems to be the only option on our parts. There’s no forced kindness radiating from Mr. Grimm onto his child, as I’m sure they both hold the same sentiment over my staying. It seems as though only Mr. Pitch has the nerve to speak his mind, rather than bite his tongue.

Sir Simon Snow, the apprentice to Lord David, is sent off to stay at the Grimm-Pitch Manor for the next twelve months. While anticipating tension, he's met with a much stranger reality that unravels in his short time there.
