Summary
Jon overhears Tim and Sasha settling a bet and has a theory. A theory that he immediately decides to test. After all, more knowledge is always a good thing isn't it? It's not that he reciprocates the affections (that he's pretty sure Martin has), but he's willing to do what it takes to find out if he is, indeed, the subject of Martin Blackwood's crush.
For, uh, for science. Yes.

Summary
Three days after Jon and Martin had gotten together, Martin finds the table of bets the others have placed on that moment. Jon and Martin make the decision not to tell the others, with the condition that they would if someone outright asked if they were dating.
Which leaves Jon and Martin pretending they are just co-workers, only struggling in a few… unfortunate situations.Series

Summary
'This was going to be a terrible day, one of those days when it’s best to stay in bed because everything is going to turn out bad. Martin had to go to dinner with his family.'
In which Jon, Martin's long-time crush, goes with Martin to the family dinner - the goal? To drink. And preferably remember what happened, which they undoubtedly will not, and have to be told by Tim, who was working at the bar that night.

Summary
Martin rides with Jon to the train station. He insisted. Said he shouldn’t have to go there alone. “Nothing worse than leaving on a trip with no one to send you off,” he’d said. Jon had nodded, gratefully, and swallowed back the burning lump of what he wanted to say—Come with me, come to Scotland, I don’t want to leave you alone again. He kept hearing Martin’s words in his head: I really loved you. And he couldn’t ask Martin to do that, to leave his whole life and everything behind to become a fugitive, cower in Scotland and throw his whole life away. It’s too much. And Martin has already sacrificed so much for him.
He’ll be content with Martin seeing him off. That can be enough. That will be enough.

Summary
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Jon said from where he'd fallen on the floor, “I just need to get a statement.”
“No,” Martin replied eloquently.
“What do you mean, ‘no?’”
“You’re not going to do work right now, Jon, you can barely stand.” Jon got back to his feet, straightened his back, and held out his arms in a defiant 'ta-da' gesture. Martin wondered, not for the first time, how he’d managed to fall for such a stubborn idiot.
Rather than voicing that thought, however, he took out his phone, pulled up the maps app, and handed it to Jon. “Put your address into my phone, I’m taking you home.”
“What?”
“If you won’t let me take you to a doctor, I’m at least taking you away from statements, and tape recorders, and work.”
Jon is sick. Martin takes care of him. They have a few conversations they've been putting off.
