It was suposed to be good day.
Peter had worked on a project with Tony and Harley before going to school and they had finally figured out a way to make the stark-phones slimer, the three of them had worked in harmony for just under an hour and had figured it out before Peter had had to leave. He had an amazing time the whole day afterwards, flash had been pretty quiet before the AcaDec meeting. And the boy had even aced his spanish test that he had actually studied for.
Now Peter was slamming his head on the desk repeatedly.

After a few more agonizing seconds during which Peter weighs the possibilities that he just gave his mentor and the savior of the world a heart attack, Mr. Stark looks up at him, eyes suddenly wide.
A beat passes.
"What's your teacher's name again?"
AKA, Ryland Grace and Tony Stark hooked up in college. This is fine, until 20 years later, Peter Parker gets involved. It's all downhill from there.

“I’m not embarrassed,” Peter rushes to defend himself, “I just… I don’t know. It’s weird. I live here. We’re basically going on a tour of my house. And half my classmates don’t believe that I’ve even stepped foot in the tower, so they’re all going to be weird about it tomorrow, and it’s… it’s weird. But I’m not embarrassed.”
“Great! If you’re not embarrassed, you don’t mind if I tag along, right?”
His eyes widen, and he gapes, mouth opening and closing wordlessly like a fish out of water. He thinks about Mr Stark meeting Dr Grace, and decides the longer he can go without an impromptu teacher-parent meeting, the better.

“He doesn’t need us like he used to, Steve,” she said simply, shrugging and returning to her training. She hadn’t elaborated, and Steve hadn’t understood.
It wasn’t until a few weeks had passed that Steve got his first clue as to what had changed.
Steve had just lifted a hand to rub at his temple, hoping to ease the tension that lingered there when the elevator doors slid open, surprising Sam mid-complaint, and a teenage boy came spilling out. He was lanky and long-limbed with curly brown hair and was currently thanking Friday for the lift. The boy’s steps seemed to stutter for a moment as he looked up and saw the heroes on their sofa, but his face didn’t change. As quickly as he faltered he recovered, continuing past them in his worn shoes and baggy sweatshirt, heading down the hall towards their rooms.
“Um.. You guys see him too, right? I’m not hallucinating?” Sam asked.
