The special agent shifts in his bindings, mumbling something through his teeth.
“Sorry?”
“I am– was investigating a murder, a drowned corpse dumped…” Graham trails off as he realises what he is discussing and where.
“It’s alright. I assure you, I won’t get any more scared than I already am.” Hannibal says.
The other man sighs doubtfully and continues. “He kills them with a– an oxygen overdose in deep water, and then dumps the corpses somewhere it’s impossible to drown. Like a field, or a road.”
Hannibal notes the fact that the special agent is still speaking about the victims with detachment. He moves around in the ropes again, professionally tied by a hand that has used these same knots over and over again. It will be hard to stay unattached to the victims for long.
Will and Hannibal first meet when they are both kidnapped by the same serial killer. Neither take it as seriously as normal people would.
