Clark tapped out of his fight, ensuring Diana stepped into his place, and flew toward Central City to assist the Flash.

He's sagging into the restraints, he thinks, and Jax is at his side doing something, but he can't tell what. He feels a pinch, but it's lost in the crescendo of pain crashing against him like rough waves in stormy waters. Nothing sticks in his brain for longer than a moment, he is only and knows only pain. It is all he ever knew, surely, surely, because it is all encompassing and there can never have been something other than this.

How will Kara cope as she becomes less popular and National City slowly finds someone new to admire? Someone who neither respects or fears her, and in fact enjoys taking Supergirl down a peg.
This is a story where Kara can’t (or won’t) solve things with punches, but finds herself in over her head against a foe that dominates her through sheer force of personality. Where Kara's optimism seems to be thwarted at every turn.
It is also a story of desire and manipulation.

One hour ago, a group of superpowered aliens ambushed members of the LordTech Security force and Supergirl in central National City.
