Summary
Kara Danvers and Lena Luthor have been friends for years and as the story begins are both at the top of their game. Lena is running LexCorp, whilst Kara has National City safer than it has ever been and is kicking ass in her career.
But a surprise attack threatens to spoil everything. Kara has not previously shared her secret identity with Lena and the reveal sets a lot of different things in motion. The two enter a strange relationship where they both explore hidden desires. Unfortunately for Kara and Lena, it's not that simple and outside forces are out to take them both down a peg.
In Season 1 - Kryptonians attack, blackmail plots are put in motion, an old nemesis shows his face, Lena does some regrettable things with kryptonite and finds herself spiralling down a dark path, whilst Kara submits.

Somewhere in the 21st century, when human scientists accidentally discovered kryptonite as an efficient, low-cost new energy source, the global industrial revolution entered a new era. High-rise buildings in cities, cars, airplanes, and even small household appliances in people's homes all rely on this kryptonite, which is known as the "gold of the future."
Kara Zo-El, the supergirl who once possessed superhuman abilities, was weakened by the kryptonite-filled environment. Every time she walks in the street, her breathing becomes difficult. Her skin was covered with ghastly green streaks, a kryptonite reaction to her body. Every breath of polluted air and water made her weaker.
Once, she was a hero in people's eyes, but now, she has become the lowest existence, having to sell her body to maintain the most basic survival. Her mind became so dull that she was unable to do even basic self-preservation. -
