Arthur snorted, but otherwise didn’t move.
“Which, as you might recall, is my transition to putting your picture up and saying, very mockingly, I’m sure you’re wondering how I landed such a babe.”

Of course he does.
And Merlin tells him. He doesn’t want to, but he doesn’t try to resist either. He submits to the power within him, urging him to go ahead, ruin all that he holds dear with a simple truth.
“She gave me a truth potion.”
Or: Merlin is under a truth spell, but Arthur lets him keep his secrets.

When one started receiving lost items from their soulmate, it was supposed to be an exciting day. It was an opportunity to learn things about them and about their life. People loved making speculations about who their soulmate was based on the clothes, childhood toys, or other things that their soulmate lost, and therefore ended up in their possession.
Everything was going fine until Merlin found a crown belonging to the prince of Camelot.
